Lucian was getting out of his work in the afternoon, tired and still worried about searching for another job, when he saw a familiar, black, brand-new Bentley in front of him.
When the window was rolled down by the person inside, he realized that the driver was Secretary Chen. He seemed pretty tired as always, and his clothes were slightly messy and disheveled; he also carried a haggard look in his eyes.
Lucian wondered if the company actually cared about the well-being of its workers. It was pretty obvious, since the situation wasn't simple, that a lot of internal arrangements had to be made. This included the media, as it was tough suppressing it or hiding Nathan's real condition.
"What are you doing here?" Lucian was looking at Secretary Chen in an amicable way. His gaze was friendly as he was approaching the car.
