Nathan stood for a moment before deciding to take the first step into what seemed like his damnation. Hesitantly, he remembered the information Secretary Chen had shown him about the man responsible for his momentary head pain.
It all pointed to a man he knew before and probably someone with whom he had previous interactions, considering his former employment in the company. He needed to be careful.
If possible, he should speak the least he could and have the minimum of reactions.
He took another step, always getting closer to the group of people surrounding the uproar.
Some noticed his presence, and upon realizing it was him, their mouths opened in an exaggerated way. Others started to look away, sensing some kind of danger.
Their boss was angry and anyone could notice. He emitted an oppressive air filled with self-restraint.
Each step he took was someone's breath, and the atmosphere surrounding them was suffocating enough to make someone afraid.
