"And why is that?"
Theron twitched his mouth, unsure.
"Because you're already healed and I don't think anyone will bother you here anymore. Besides," he turned to me, "weren't you the one complaining about not having your privacy? Well, now you have it again."
"Alpha..."
"I'll ask them to bring your belongings back here. Tomorrow I'll get your dress for the Ball ready, okay? Good night."
And he didn't wait for me to respond or anything. He just turned and walked away to his room at the end of the hallway.
I stood there for a moment before entering my old room. Yeah, I had complained about sharing a room with Theron, but now that I was back in a space just for me, it felt empty, like something very important was missing.
I sat on the bed and sighed. What was missing was Theron. I was falling for him, but was that wise? He didn't seem to want me to leave, and I was beginning to question that decision of mine.
