Alright, Sienna wanted to discuss values. Well, wonderful.
I closed the menu and looked straight at her. Then, I offered the best smile I could muster.
"Sienna, dear, there are restaurants and then there are restaurants here. This is a small town, but not so small that it's… small-town style, exactly. We have hotels, shops… for every taste and budget. This town isn't frequented only by pack members, as I believe you've noticed. A human or two wandering around."
She didn't have her wolf, and she probably couldn't scent who was human, but still, outsiders were usually easy to spot.
"You're from the pack," she insisted.
"I'm not just the Alpha, Sienna. I have businesses. Businesses in the human world. And not all packs are like this, deep in the forest or on remote lands. Some packs settle right in the heart of large human cities." I wet my lips. "Therefore, I have assets and enough money to spend without limits."
