I thought Theron was going to give me that bullshit of 'you're not worthy, you don't have a wolf!' but when he said the exact opposite, it was as if a light bathed him for the first time in my eyes.
I was grateful to him, I could see he wasn't a bad person. However, until that moment, I hadn't felt admiration for him. The admiration I felt at that exact moment was surreal. Theron Valken had an open mind. I wouldn't say he was free of prejudice because I didn't know him well enough yet, but at least on that topic, he was decent. A decent person!
My father's words came back to me, about how the ideal male for me would be someone who accepted me as I am — and the irony was that same father wanted to arrange a marriage for me. Could the groom be someone like Theron? In that aspect, at least?
His laughter caught me off guard again. Theron didn't look old at all, but I could say that when he laughed like that, he looked at least ten years younger!
