Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: Introduction

I am Marcellius Grim, Lord Mage of Aravea, Captain of the Aslan, architect of spells, and walker of the worlds. You have at your fingertips the observations gleaned through my extensive exploits across the known multiverse. While many laws that exist in one universe extend throughout all others, there remain few singularities that shine above all others. This book contains records of all wonderful systems of magic across the worlds, the creatures that wield their fantastic power, as well as the way their magic affects the world around them.

As a scholar and explorer, I have long had an innate fascination with the workings of magic, and if the origin of it may ever be known. Hopefully my insights will shed some light on the topic.
