As civilization fell into desolation, ignorance, and darkness, witchcraft, religion, and countless rituals replaced the once-proud civilization. The spirit was scorched in blood and fire, and the highest of gods cast us into a tragic fate. People said, "You shall come to clear the nations and become the Emperor of Rome." The gods said, "You shall go, to dominate all things and ascend to the highest heaven." Russell heeded their counsel. A thousand years ago, he became the Emperor.
