Sebastian texted her the location earlier.
After calling the cab, Lillian got into the car. A slight ache tugged at her chest from the sting of the fare. As she paid the price, she didn't let that show on her face.
Once she entered the hotel building, Lillian noticed Sebastian leaning against the wall near the main entrance. He scrolled through the phone. A lollipop stem poked from the corner of his mouth, resting lazily between his lips.
He wore an embellished, tailored burgundy suit. Beneath it, his shirt was cut wide at the neck, revealing a tantalizing glimpse of a well-toned collarbone and chest. A few strands of his dark hair had slipped forward, grazing his forehead and softening his sharp, striking features.
Lillian noticed how the nearby crowds glanced at Sebastian.
Used to him being the center of attention, Lillian made her way over to him.
"About time you're here," Sebastian remarked, lifting his gaze from his phone.
