Lillian sat on the side of the dark street, hugging her knees. She hid her face in her knees as the bright street light illuminated her face.
The incessant rain falling on her paused despite the constant noise of the droplets hitting the surface.
Lillian raised her head. Red colored the corner of her eyes. A man stood in front of her, holding an umbrella over her head.
He sighed. "What a pitiful little cat."

Lethargy overtook her body as Lillian got up from the bed. The memory from her dream flashed behind in her mind.
Although the shadows covered the face, she knew it was Sebastian.
What an odd timing to have this dream.
Once she got down from the bed, she realized Sophie had already gotten up early. The faint sounds of conversation she was having with Grace, mixed with laughter, reached into her ears.
After Lillian was done freshening up, she stepped out of the room and said, "Good morning."
