The tension in the room lifted during the dinner time.
Grace carefully picked the bones from her fish before placing the tender flesh on top of her rice. Across from her, Lillian ate quietly, listening to the little things that had happened throughout her day.
Seeing how Grace had already everything that happened at the back of her head made her feel relieved.
She wanted Grace and the entire Lu family to stay away from Chens.
Once Lillian was done eating, she was about to take the plates to the kitchen when Grace patted on her back, saying, "You must be exhausted today. Jasper will do the dishes tonight."
Removing his headphones, Jasper stated at Grace in discontentment.
But Grace ignored him and added, "And from tomorrow onwards, Jasper will take to you campus and back. It's too dangerous for you to be travelling alone."
"I have work to do," Jasper muttered, turning Grace down flatly.
Lillian quickly agreed. "There is no need to bother him. I can take care of myself."
