One month later
"Congratulations, you are three weeks pregnant." My eyes widened. I shook my head in disapproval.
"I don't understand, I can not be pregnant." I haven't been with anyone since, Dante, and it's been a month since I left... As long as my heart yearns to get with him again, I cannot for the life of me go back to that lifestyle...
The doctor, wearing his glasses, looked at the test results from his screen. "Umm, yes you are. All your symptoms are consistent with those of pregnancy. From the look of it, we are not mistaken."
I scoffed, glaring at him, snatching the printed test results from his desk. "Well, you are, and I am going to get a second opinion." This news was supposed to be something of joy, but trust me, all I felt was dread. Knowing how careless I had been previous months ago, I couldn't even hate myself more than I already did.
