"What the hell did you do?!" I almost poured some of my morning black coffee on my custom shirt. I cussed under my breath, grabbing the napkin from the table, tightening it with my fist. Not only that, but I stared at the infuriation swirling in her eyes. I loved riling her up, as gullible as she was, she was too stiff. I believe that was why Axel was free to do what he wanted. Fuck, I hated even thinking about the bastard. Someone like him didn't deserve her. I took a piece of the pancake, looking delicious, averting her gaze. "I'm talking to you, Mr Stark."
The knot in my chest tightened. 'Mr Stark.' seemed too formal. I hated being formal with her. "I'm not deaf, Birdie. I wouldn't know what I did, if you didn't tell me." I shrugged, feigning ignorance.
"Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about!" Her index finger was pointed at me. I ignored her sheer innocence wrapped with a shade of fury.
