Chapter 7 - CHAPTER SIX

I couldn't explain why I was so eager to start training. Was it because of the great burden of rebuilding the werewolves Empire as its Princess or heir? I needed to be strong to do that.

Anna's P.O.V✓

A week later

I stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my uniform.

I was enrolled in Chrisvilland High School, one of the best schools in California. It was a high-standard school, mostly filled with rich kids.

I wore a cream-colored long-sleeve shirt, a blue and white striped skirt, and a jacket with a tie.

I added knee-length black stockings and heel booties to complete the look.

I adorned my hair with accessories and applied a rosy lip gloss.

I carried my backpack and gave a final look at the mirror before heading downstairs.

"Good morning, Mum," I greeted, seeing her talking to Ms. Helen.

"Good morning, Ms. Helen," I smiled.

My mom hugged me, whispering a good morning into my ears.

"Good morning, Princess Anna," Ms. Helen replied with a smile.

We sat at the dining table and ate our breakfast.

My mom gave me a non-stop warning to be careful and not to reveal my identity to anyone.

"Mum, I'm sixteen, for crying out loud," I told her, and she chuckled.

"Yes, I know, but those people out there are dangerous," she warned, and I nodded.

Yeah, they were very dangerous. They would do anything to get what they wanted, and they would do anything to get me.

I stood in front of the magnificent school, staring at the huge building with Max and Mac by my sides.

They were dressed in black suits, polished shoes, and sunglasses, their hair styled slick back, giving off an aura of perfect bodyguards.

I got goosebumps as the students stared at us. Whoa, that was creepy.

We made our way to the principal's office. If stares could kill, we would have been dead again in the afterlife.

Mac opened the door, and we entered.

"Oh, oh, oh, you must be Annabelle Brooklyn," the principal said, beaming with a smile as he stood up.

"Good morning, sir," I greeted, trying to hide my nervousness. Mac and Max stood motionless behind me.

"Good morning, welcome to Chrisvilland High School," the principal replied.

He rummaged through his files, brought out a folder, and handed it to me.

"There's a map and other documents you might need," he stated, and I smiled.

"Thank you, sir," I beamed.

The principal led me to my class, Mac and Max behind me, carrying my stuff.

All eyes were on me the moment I stepped into the classroom. The chattering stopped, and everyone became silent, staring at me like I was some kind of clown.

"Good morning, students," the principal broke the silence. "Here today, we have a new student."

The students began to murmur.

'I can't believe Principal Charles personally came to introduce a student.'

'Who are those guys? They're handsome.'

'Who is she?'

'Wow, she's beautiful.'

'Is she rich?'

I squinted my eyes, trying to block out the mumbled words.

"What the hell?" I screamed in my head.

"Please introduce yourself," the principal voiced.

I gulped down my nerves as I walked forward.

"Hi guys, I'm Anna Brooklyn, nice to meet you all," I introduced myself.

"Have a seat, please," the principal offered.

Before I could take a step, I'd already seen Max standing beside a seat near the window, still holding my backpack.

I looked at the girls staring at him and scoffed.

I walked to Max and whispered, "I can choose my seat."

I collected my backpack.

"You have to be safe, else I'll become fries for the witches," Max said, patting my hair.

I glared at him, and he smirked, walking out with Mac, who waved at me.

I rolled my eyes and sat down, hanging my backpack on the hanger.

"Anna Brooklyn, if you need anything, I am available," the principal said with a smile and left the room.

Immediately, the class turned noisy, and the chattering continued.
