Back at the vampire castle Yuta just woke up with immense pain all over his body. He
couldn't even move his hand without groaning.
He finally managed to turn to his side, but
he wished he didn't. There lying beside him was Kevin's asleep body.
At first, he was startled but then looking at Kevin's handsome face made him calm down.
Yuta touched Kevin's face and traced his fingers along the high bridged nose and those thin pink lips. Yuta was in his dream world.
His little bubble burst when he heard Kevin talking. "Am I really that handsome that you
can't resist touching me" Yuta immediately retrieved his hand when he heard this.
Kevin chuckled at Yuta's cute behaviour before asking him how he was feeling.
"I'm a bit sore and my neck is…" Yuta was pointing at his neck; it was red and swollen.
Guilt was eating up Kevin as he saw this. "Yuta…um…I-I don't know how to say this but yesterday…" Kevin stopped midway, his voice shacky.
He feared what would happen after he told Yuta about the events that occurred yesterday.
And to top it all Yuta doesn't even know that Kevin is a vampire.
"Yesterday…?" Yuta raised his left eyebrow waiting for Kevin to continue. Yuta couldn't
remember yesterday's events and hearing Kevin's shacky voice made him fear the
worst.
"Yuta, you got heat and when I tried to leave you held me down," "I tried to reason with
you, but you just released more of your pheromones which triggered my rut and..." Kevin swallowed hard.
"We ended up doing something, then I lost control and marked you," Yuta almost fainted.
He kept touching himself everywhere ignoring the pain he was feeling. Finally, his slim fingers landed on his neck. Yuta couldn't believe he got marked by a stranger he just met; he couldn't stop the tears from falling out from his eyes.
Seeing Yuta cry made Kevin feel heartbroken, but he still needed to tell Yuta the last truth about himself. "Yuta?" Kevin made sure to be cautious as Yuta was still crying.
Yuta wiped his tears and looked at Kevin. "I know I should've told you yesterday and I was planning on doing it but you needed rest so I thought I would tell you today when you
left".
"Since things didn't go as planned, I think I should tell you that…. I am a vampire, the
vampire king to be exact", "I just started my reign 3 years ago after the previous king
died."
Yuta's eyes bulged at the new information. He got marked by his sworn enemy, now how was he going to take revenge. This was so messed up.
"You're a vampire??" Yuta was on the verge of tearing up again. Kevin now felt even more
guilty for not telling Yuta sooner and he approached him.
"Don't! Just don't" Kevin stopped on his tracks when he heard Yuta's shaky voice.
'Was Yuta that much affected?'
Kevin just stood at the end of the bed watching Yuta cry his heart out.
