Ever since Kevin told Yuta about his identity Yuta has been avoiding him. Kevin tried all
ways to connect to him, but Yuta just can't see his efforts.
"Yuta…. *sigh* can we talk?" Yuta flinched when he heard Kevin's voice. "No! d-don't come a-any closer!" Yuta feared
Kevin.
Though Yuta was strong he couldn't beat Kevin in a fight. He knows this as he can feel
the power overflowing Kevin's body and he isn't ready to fight such a person unless he
wants to die.
"Are you…scared of me?" Kevin looked at Yuta's trembling figure.
He couldn't believe it. "Yuta… please don't be like this".
"I don't know what I did but I'm sorry… It hurts to see you like this", "I don't know why but seeing you like this makes my heart break", Kevin was on the verge of tears.
Yuta stood there in disbelief. He was no longer trembling as before. "I just care for you okay…please tell me what I did for you to avoid me like this".
"It kills me every time you ignore me", "I know… it must be that I marked you, isn't it?
Look I'm sorry, I can't reverse what I did but I'll try to make sure you live peacefully… just
please…."
Yuta's mouth was agape, watching tears roll down Kevin's cheeks made him think about all the bad things he did to Kevin all day long.
Yuta couldn't bear to see Kevin like that, so he gave him a hug. He wrapped his arms
around Kevin and cried on his neck.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to punish you, it's just….", Yuta started trembling when he remembered how his family died.
Kevin snaked his arms around Yuta's tiny waist to keep him from falling. "Just what
Yuta?", Kevin wanted to know, just what the hell made Yuta tremble so much.
"Your kind Kevin….", "I promised myself I'll kill every single vampire I come across but here I am bonded to their king".
"But…why?", "Because I lost my family all because of them, and I almost lost my pack
because of them".
Yuta released Kevin and looked him straight in the eye. "I took over the pack at a young age without any family to back me up…do you know how painful that is?", Yuta couldn't stop his tears.
Kevin wiped Yuta's tears, kissed him on the temple and brought their heads together.
Yuta was shocked by all of Kevin's actions.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that
because of my kind", "But…your kind is just as bad as ours," Kevin wanted to defend his
kind in some way.
"What! How?", Yuta thought Kevin was on his side guess not. "Your kind joined leagues with some exiled vampires and wiped out my
entire family because they thought we were a threat …"
"Plus it's not like your kinds sit there leisurely when they see vampires," Kevin added with a chuckle.
Kevin stopped there and looked at Yuta to let him finish the story in his head. "Then that
means…", Yuta eyes bulged when realization hit.
Even though they were in a serious conversation Kevin laughed looking at Yuta's
maroon eyes.
He had been looking at them since the start of the conversation, the way they changed expressions was funny in Kevin's eyes.
"Seriously…we are having an important conversation, how can you laugh?", "sorry,
*sigh* so should we go out and talk?"..."sure"
Yuta agreed immediately which was a shock
to Kevin considering how hard Yuta has been.
