Midas had to reevaluate all that he thought he knew about Featherine.
What exactly is a Valkyrie. According to the description given to him by the system he learnt that Valkyries are know as a warrior race, they are exceptionally powerful against races of the same tier and level. The only troops that he knew could do such a thing were dragons. There might probably be others that he has never heard about too.
He never imagined that his own troops would be able to do the same thing.
From what he heard about Valkyries, they were supposed to have only a single pair of wings. so why does Featherine have three?
Midas immediately fell into deep thoughts. If only he could summon more troops he'd be unstoppable.
Wait more troops? That's right!
With that thought in mind he hurriedly ran out of the dinning room. He had only one destination in mind.
"Master, wait!" Featherine shouted as she caught up to him in an instant. She flew behind him at a low altitude, following behind him like a guardian angel.
The hall was wide enough for her to fly without being hindered or her wings touching the walls.
She was confused as to why Midas had suddenly ran out on her. What had her master in such a hurry?
Midas soon reached his destination and he couldn't help the huge smile that threatened to split his face in two as he stared with sparkling eyes at the recruitment pool in front of him.
The dark that had always obscured the it was now gone revealing the recruitment pool in all of it glory.
A statue of a fair maiden with six pairs of wings stood in the middle of the pool with her wings spread wide. She wore battle armors and a helmet covered her head with long hair held in a high ponytail. In her hands was a beautiful spear.
The way she held her head made it look like she was looking down on all lives.
All in all the statue gave off a divine and majestic aura.
"Yes. It finally activated" Midas cheered as he walked towards the recruitment pool with Featherine following closely behind him.
She also observed the statue in front of her, she felt a familiar aura coming from it.
As Midas reached the statue he cautiously and carefully reached out a hand to touch the statue. He shut eyes tightly, half expecting the statue to fling him again but surprisingly nothing happened when his hand touched the statue.
Instead a messaged appeared on his retina.
"Valkyrie recruitment pool. Current number of Valkyrie that can be recruited today 5/5"
Finally! It's here!
Midas unhesitatingly started the recruitment process. A blue shockwave gently exploded out from the statue, and the surface of the statue rippled like water.
Midas watched with an excited expression as five figures emerged from the statue one after the other.
"My lord"
Midas heart skipped a beat as he stared at the Valkyries kneeling in front of him. However, unlike Featherine only one of them has two pair of wings while the other two had a single pair of wings.
Midas observed every feature of the Valkyries in front of him. They beautiful wasn't as pronounced as Featherine but they looked battle hardened and fierce. The armor on their bodies also looked like it couldn't be penetrated by a sword. They also had differing weapons like a spear, and a sword.
One of them even carried a shield on her back.
They really lived up to their description of a battle race unlike Featherine. Midas glanced over his shoulder at the said Valkyrie standing obediently behind him. However, when she looked at him he quickly turned his gaze away.
"Please bestow upon us a name, my lord" The dark skinned succubus in the lead said respectfully.
A name huh? Midas tapped on his chin as he thought of a suitable name to give this female warriors.
"I've got it. Tabitha, Irene and Maggie"
