"Thank you my lord" Tabitha saluted as she stood up to her feet along with the other two.
"Oh oh" Midas Gasped as he saw the three of them standing to their full height.
'Huge' That was the only though that came to his mind. He already though that Featherine was tall but Tabitha and the others completely shattered his mind.
They were a whole head taller than Featherine, which mean that they completely dwarfed him.
Was he going to be living among giants? Will the next batch of soldiers be even taller? Midas suddenly felt faint at the thought .
"Is something the matter master?" Irene asked with a worried expression as she bent down to look over her master for any signs of injuries. However, her innocent act only caused Midas already depressed heart to sink deeper.
"Greetings superior" Tabitha bowed to Featherine who had been silently watching everything play out.
"Tabitha right? You can just call me Featherine. What is it you want?"
"If you say so lady Featherine."
"Why does master look so down" Maggie questioned. She hadn't said a word since because she as curious of their master but all this while he had just been acting strangely.
"Oh that. Don't worry about it. Master is a very awkward and unique person" Featherine giggled. Maggie and Tabitha exchanged looks as they couldn't understand what Featherine meant by that.
"Alright. You guys come with me" Midas quickly turned around and left the recruitment hall with the four of them behind him.
After returning back to the throne room Midas sat on the throne and quicklybbrowsed thought the forum. He already had his troops but he was confused about what to do next.
'I literally know nothing about this place. The last time I went out I nearly died'
Midas thought about it for a while before turning to look at Featherine and the rest.
"You guys can fly right? Can you check out the surrounding area?"
Right now what he lacked the most was information.
"Leave it to us, my lord" Tabitha bowed and left the hall in a swift motion with the other two.
Irene waved him goodbye as she left the throne room.
After they left Midas directed his attention to Featherine who hadn't left his side.
"You are not going with them?" Midas asked. He had honestly hoped that Featherine would go with them, he doesn't know exactly how powerful Featherine is but he was a living witness of her strength.
"No." Featherine shook her head and said. " If I left with them who would be around to protect you?"
That's right how could I have been stupid! Midas felt like slapping himself. If she left it meant that he would be all alone by himself again. Even if he didn't venture out of his territory who was to say that a monster won't wonder in?
"Right" Midas laughed while scratching his head sheepishly. However he didn't feel comfortable sending level 1 soldiers out into the wild, not to mention that they were recently summoned.
It would hurt as hell if any of them was to die since he could only summon five soldiers every three days.
How troublesome. If only he could sire them without any restrictions.
Midas quickly got over his thoughts and started going through the forum that was bursting with activities. Information was the most important thing right now.
Heavenlycrow: Have you guys explored the areas around your territory.
Hornydog: Not at all. My soldiers are still low level but I have watched the scenery from above my walls, I'm surrounded by a lush forest.
Notgoodatlying: I feel sorry for you. The last guy that lost his kingdom also resided in the middle of a forest.
Wait someone died?!
Midas heart skipped a beat when he read that. He thought that he had been the only misfortune one after he nearly got killed but he was wrong.
Someone actually died!
Onlyafraidofdragons: Guys, after spending a week here I've realized that we are not in our original world. Today, I saw a large red beam of light shooting into the sky in the distance followed by a mighty roar that crack the wall of my city.
And my territory is rank 3! The worst part is that I didn't even catch sight of the monster.
Ominousreader: It must be a tier 4 or tier 5 being. I suggest you move your territory as soon as possible. If you have such a creature leaving so close to you then you're definitely not safe.
Onlyafraidofdragons: How do I do that? My soldier are level 15 dwarfs they haven't even advanced into tier 1 yet.
Toomanygooddeeds: I'm sorry to say but you are in bug trouble if that monster lives close to you. I suggest you build your strength quickly so that you have a fighting chance if the monster decides to attack you later on.
Ominousreader: The dude above me has a point. There is no known way of moving one's territory yet but you can still build your strength.
After a few more minutes of scrolling Midas closed the forum with a heavy sigh. What the hell was this?
From what he had read on the forum he had gotten a general understanding of the whole situation. It seemed that the world his territory had materialized in wasn't the world that he knew.
The monsters in this world are also of a higher level, which meant that the level cap was higher.
However, from what a person on the forum said there are civilizations in this world.
This is getting a little difficult for him to handle. But for some reason he couldn't shake his mind off of the red bean of light that was mentioned by onlyafraidofdragons.
What kind of monster was that?
