Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 - Another Unfamiliar Place

Nathan woke up once again, his vision a little blurry at first, but once he regained his vision, he realized he was in a bed yet again. The same bed from the white "room".

'So it wasn't a dream. Fuck.'

As Nathan looked around, he saw he was in a clearing surrounded by a dense forest with only the trees to keep him company.

"THERE'S NOT EVEN BEAUTIFUL GIRLS TO GUIDE ME AS SOON AS I GET TO THIS TRASH WORLD!?!"

"There's not even beautiful girls to guide me as soon as I get to this trash world!" The forest echoed back.

'Even the forest is mocking me, Nathan looked at the ground angrily.

Trying to calm down, he looked up at the sky and realized it was daytime.

'At least I don't have to wander through the dark.'

Nathan got out of bed and checked his clothes; he still had the ones from his world. He checked his pockets and found that he still had his cellphone and a pocket knife. His cellphone was at 56% and his pocket knife, which his dad gifted him, was still very sharp.

Nathan got down on his knees and started bowing.

"Oh, thank you, wonderful being, for the gift you bestowed upon me; this servant is forever grateful for it. Allow me to ask for forgiveness."

'One day imma shove my foot so far up yo-'

A twig snapped near Nathan, and in that silent forest the sound was almost deafening. Nathan's face turned white, and his hands and feet turned cold as ice. He turned towards the noise and couldn't see anything. Nathan, out of morbid curiosity, approached where he thought he heard the noise. As he did, he stepped on a branch. As soon as he realized, he made a sound, and his heart dropped even further.

'Fuck'

The noise caused a bush to shake. There was only a split second for Nathan to turn to look at the bush when something jumped out.

A shadowy figure rushed towards Nathan and hit him in the chest, causing him to lose his breath, but he was now flat on his back.

Nathan sat up, noticing he wasn't dead yet, and saw that it was a…
