It was the next day, Hoseok had just woke up when he found me showing the helper around. He walked in and sat on the chair front opposite to me. "I can take care of Ha-jun and Ha-eun while still recovering, it's not a hard job." he said feeling bad about burdening me. "I would love for you to take those two brats away from me as soon as possible, but not while you still injured. Even though I hired you to look after them, to us you are important as family. You always there when we need you, and you even got injured protecting them. It would be cruel of me to let you take care of the twins while still recovering. But I have to say, the moments those two brats decide to strike, they strike. Just because I refused to leave them with you at the hospital, they started crying until I bribed them candy or else they would have been the disaster siren the whole day." I said shaking my head as I played a bowl of fruit salad in front of him. After living we us for so long he knew that I love to always prepare something for him to eat. At first he was always shy, but he got used to it as time went by.
"Hahaha! That reminds me of the first day I met them. I actually thought they were reincarnated souls, the look the gave me was so intimidating that I felt chills go down my spine." he said laughing as the memories flashed into his mind. "Hahaha! If you could have seen they way they looked whenever Youngho oppa touched them, you would swear they see him as their enemy. I remember one day they were crying non-stop and Jiyeon mentioned giving them to him so he can help calm them down, they immediately stopped crying and went to sleep. We were so shocked that we couldn't believe what had happened so we told him when he came back and he told us they have been treating him like that ever since they met. My poor oppa, after nursing them so long, all he gets is their death stares." I said, trying to hold back my laughter when the sound of the twins waking up came from the baby monitor. "Talk about the devil and he shall appear." I said, picking up the baby monitor and headed to their room. When I got there, I picked them up and placed them into their baby bouncer while I made up their cribs.
After making their cribs, I tidied up their room then bathed them. After bathing them, I clothed them and packed their bags, then carried them downstairs. The moment they saw Hoseok, they got excited and insisted I let them down. Immediately after I placed them down, the rushed to the couch where he was sitting and jumped on. "No, Ha-jun, Ha-eun. Uncle Hoseok is still recovering, you can't jump him like that or do you want me to take him back to the hospital?" I said, removing them from him and gave them a death stare. "Sorry mommy. Are you okay uncle yum yum?" Ha-eun said, her lips pushed out in a tiny pout as she stretched her hands out to cup Hoseok's face. He nodded, smiling back at her. "Do you want uncle Hoseok to feed you? Or should I?" I said, turning around to look at them, halfway to the kitchen. "We want uncle yum yum to feed us." They replied as they stood up and started jumping up and down on the couch. I turned around and went to the kitchen to get their food. I handed the bowls to him, then went upstairs to get dressed. When I came back, I found them sitting quietly in their baby bouncer,
watching cartoons as he fed them. All of that reminded me of how strong their bond was. To them, he was more than just some uncle I hired to look after them. He was their uncle yum yum, the one who plays with them, make them yummy food and hides them whenever I caught them being naughty. Such beautiful moment are important and very rare. I took out my phone and recorded the moment. The way they were so focused on the cartoon, they didn't even notice me when I was pacing up and down packing things in the car. I finished packing and headed to the living room to get them only to find them sleeping. Hoseok helped me settle them into their seat without waking them up. I said goodbye to him then went to work.
