Guns blazed through windows and walls, the silence filling the room as the last cartridge fell unto the ground. The boss was squatted down, shielding himself from the flying bullets while all his men met their end. Once everything was done, I ran towards the twins and picked them up to check if they were fine, then carried them to Hoseok to help him. The boss slowly stood up, red dots on every part of him. My men walked in and seized him, Micheal, my best friend and also the leader of Red Drip rushed to help Hoseok. We carried him to my car and took him to the hospital while the boss was taken to one of interrogation warehouse. We were at the hospital, Hoseok woke up and the first thinn he did was ask about the twins whereabouts. "Calm down, they are sleeping in the ward next door." I said helping he settle back into his bed. "The doctor said nothings was broken but the beating was severe so you have to rest for two weeks. Don't worry about Ha-jun and Ha-eun, I'll take them to work with me. You just focus on getting well so that you can all get back together before they drive me crazy."
I said covering him with the blanket, then went back to sit down. After what happened, we were no longer in the mood for a party so we canceled the party. I t was now in the evening, I left two body guards guarding outside his ward then took the twins home. After we arrived home, I bathed them and put them to bed before I went out. "What is he saying?" I said with a stern look as I walked into the room. "He said it was a mistake, he wanted to kidnap his friend's children, not yours." he reported back then moved back to stand behind me. [This is hopeless, I really thought I would get to skin someone but it seems it was all just a big misunderstanding. Oh ! wait, I know. I could skin him for beating my Hoseok, after all I'm the one who is going to suffer for two weeks just because of his mistake. No, we already killed the ones who did it so I can skin him. Ahhhh! Why is luck not on myself?] I thought to myself as I paced up and down in the room, making everyone scratch their heads in a confusion. "Let him go." I said as I stopped pacing the walked out of the room.
I went back home to get rest because starting tomorrow my life was going to get hard. I woke up around 5am, cleaned the house then went for gym around 6am. When I got back, I found those two brats awake, playing with their iPads. I took and shower then prepared their outfits before bathing them. After I was done, I made them food and left them to eat while I went to get dressed. By the time I was done, it was already 20 minutes to 8 in the morning. I removed the bib on them, then started packing our things in the car. By the time I was done it was already 10 past 8, I buckled the twins in the car and headed to work. Our house was only 15 minutes away from the company plus traffic, so by the time we arrived at the company around half past 8. I get the twins on a baby stroller and picked up their bags while my assistant, Eleanor carried my laptop bag and my hand back. We entered the company then headed to my office with her following behind me as she updated me about my schedule. We arrived at my office, I got the twins settle in their play area then got to work.
My office was about 23m squared, 1/3 of it was turned into the twins' play room for days like this. We used a transparent laminated glass to reduce sound so that their noise doesn't disturb mean but we have to install baby monitors for their safety. During lunch we went to the hospital to visit Hoseok, and when it was time to leave, the twins gave me hard time. If he wasn't injured, I was going to let them with him without looking back but he was injured and needed rest so I had no choice by to refuse leaving them with him. My day wasn't going well with him in the hospital, it was as if there was a missing piece and, Ha-jun and Ha-eun were not letting me have peace of mind. When we left the hospital, they cried so hard that I had to buy them candy to pacify them into calming down. It was in the evening I went back to the hospital to get him discharge or else those brat were never going to let me have peace until they got their uncle squirrel back. We went back home and got him settle, then put the twins to bed. I had to call Eleanor to arrange a house keeper for him.
