It was around 12:30pm, Eleanor walked into the office with Hoseok following behind her. "Awww! Hoseok, why are you not resting at home?" I said, walking to him and helped him carry the takeout bags he was holding. I helped him sit then placed the takeout bags on the table. "I missed Ha-jun and Ha-eun so I decided to buy you lunch on my way here." he said, shyly scratching the back of his head before pointing out the takeout bags. "They are still sleeping, but you can wait for them if you don't mind. It is only 30 minutes before they wake up." I said, feeling a bit happy that he came or else those two brats were going to drive me crazy. he nodded, nearly making me jump in excitement. I asked Eleanor to bring him something to eat while he waits for the twins to wake, then continued with my work. It was already 01: 30pm, but there was no noise coming from my office. I got up from my chair in the meeting room and went to check on them thinking they had overslept, only to find them peacefully watching cartoons with Hoseok. [Okay, now I see. So that is how it is?Those two brats always throw a tantrum at my poor Eleanor as soon as they wake up,
but comply peacefully with Hoseok. Is it because I'm too gently with them? But I have to say, Hokie is really good with kids. ] I thought to myself as I watched them from the door, with hands crossed. "Hokie! Do you plan to go home after this?" I asked, walking towards them and sat next to him. "Nope, I would like to stay with the twins if you don't mind." he said in a lower voice, polite as always. "Of course, I don't mind but I wanted us to go finalize your adoption papers at the embassy. We see you as family and love having you around so I thought since you have no other family member, why not become ours but only if you want." I said, trying assure him that he is not forced nor should he feel pressured to agreed to the adoption. "It is okay, but can I not change my last name?" he said, his hands clasped together, looking at me with imploring eyes. "Of course, you don't have to change it. In the future, don't be afraid to asked me for anything. I'll do my best to fulfill it as long it is something within my reach. And if someone tries bullying you, bully them back using my name as shield.
If they dare do something to you I will skin them alive, but enough about that lets pack up and get going before it gets late." I said, standing up to pack Ha-jun and Ha-eun's things before leaving. We got into the car and headed to the embassy to get complete the documents and return them back to Youngho oppa. After we were done, we went out to celebrate together with Eleanor. We finished celebrating then head home. When we got home, I bathed the twins and put them to bed. I said good night to Hokie and went to my room to rest. Before sleeping I made a call to Eleanor and asked her if there was any vacancies that were open and would suit Hokie. "Now that you ask, last time I heard the president say he wanted a secretary but I'm not sure if he was able to get one." she replied from the other side of the phone. "Can you check with him tomorrow morning if he still needs one. I think Hokie might get bored staying home when the twins go to kinder-garden, not that they will be going anytime soon but I think it will be better to get him a job so he can get used to it so that when they separate, he is used to his work."
I said, expressing my worries to Eleanor. "I get it, don't worry I will get it done." she said, before hanging up. I placed the phone on the night stand then went to bed. I was the next morning, I woke up and followed my morning routine except for that Hokie was helping me out this time around. When it was time to bathe the twins, he stayed in the kitchen to make breakfast. I came down with the twins, got them settled in their baby bouncers and he fed them while I packed their things in the car. When I was done, I found them quietly watching cartoons. "You should go and get ready, you are also coming with us today. I found you a job at the company, that way you will be close to Ha-jun and Ha-eun all day until they go to kinder-garden." I said, walking towards the stairs, going upstairs to change. He got up in and excitement and went to change. After he was done, we left for the office.
