He dipped his hands into the water, cupped a bit, before bringing them up to his face.
The water was cold.
It was soothing as well.
He rubbed his fingers in circles across his temples, humming slightly at its effects.
He splashed water on his face once more.
He sighed.
His palms met the counter, sliding across its length. He watched himself through the mirror in front of him.
He recognised the young face that stared back; it was his, after all.
He was tall and dark-skinned, with a sharp, angular jawline. Neat cornrows ran backward across his head, each braid maintained carefully.
His eyes were dark and remained fixed upon his reflection. His pupils were slightly larger than normal.
He stared at himself beneath slightly arched brows, before nodding slightly.
His reflection did the same.
Kofi smiled faintly.
"It is stupid now."
