There was no pain.
As the lightning bolt slammed onto his back, Ikemefuna was simply hurled forward by the outrageous force.
He didn't fight it though, he let himself be carried further by that force, judging it to be faster than him using his feet.
He had Wicker to thank for that.
A quick glance told Ikemefuna that the officer on the other hand wasn't doing well.
A large wound appeared on his back.
But there was no expression on Wicker's face, as if the pain had barely registered.
Ikem's Supernatural had worked in the way he believed it would.
Moe, the larger instructor, turned from the gate to stare at his colleague.
"You okay, Wicker?"
The man half nodded. "Everything is under control. Don't interfere Moe."
Moe turned back.
"This one is not fast, unlike the dwarf, he shouldn't be able to make it far."
His voice was loud, so Ikem was able to hear every word he said.
He did not react at all, still pushing his feet forward.
