Yuichi was unfazed by Uchiha Mikoto's abilities, even as her Sharingan revealed a formidable strength. Despite her being a Jōnin, or even possibly an Elite Jōnin, Yuichi knew she posed no real threat to him.
His position as the top powerhouse in the Uchiha clan ensured that her resistance would be futile.
"Mikoto, you understand my power. If I wanted to kill your grandfather, it wouldn't be difficult," Yuichi said calmly, his words carrying the weight of a threat.
Mikoto's grandfather, a staunch supporter of Uchiha Fugaku, had long been at odds with Yuichi. Now, his life seemed to hang in the balance.
"Your grandfather has aligned himself against me, and for that, I'm prepared to eliminate him. Are you willing to risk that?"
His words struck fear into Mikoto's heart. As an elder of the Uchiha clan, her grandfather was a significant figure. But Yuichi's words shattered her illusions—if he had the audacity to orchestrate the downfall of the clan's former leader, Uchiha Yuan, then eliminating her grandfather would be of little consequence to him.
Seeing the anguish on her face, Yuichi relaxed his grip on her, turning away.
"I'll give you ten seconds to decide. After that, I'll leave. I don't like forcing anyone."
This facade of decency contradicted the darkness in his words. He began to count, his voice steady and unyielding.
"Ten... nine... eight..."
Mikoto's mind raced. She had no time to formulate a plan or consider her options. Her hands trembled as the weight of her decision pressed down on her.
"Two... one."
Just as Yuichi turned to leave, Mikoto grabbed his hand, her heart heavy with resignation.
"I... I agree," she whispered, tears slipping down her cheeks as she felt the collapse of her moral compass.
Yuichi smirked, victorious. He picked her up and carried her into her room without hesitation. Mikoto, helpless and defeated, was left with no choice but to comply.
An hour later, Yuichi emerged from the room, his clothing neatly adjusted, leaving Mikoto behind. Her once dignified posture now broken, she followed him with unsteady steps, her eyes filled with fatigue and sorrow.
"Remember your promise," she said softly, her voice cracking. "You said you wouldn't harm my grandfather."
Yuichi barely acknowledged her words, his response cold and indifferent. "That depends on your future behavior. Today's performance left much to be desired."
Mikoto clenched her fists, anger and shame swirling inside her. She had compromised her principles and her dignity to protect her only remaining family member. Now, her future felt uncertain, her once stable life thrown into chaos.
After Yuichi left, Mikoto's thoughts were plagued by doubt and fear. She had been engaged to Uchiha Fugaku, a man she respected, and had planned to build a life with. But now, that future seemed impossible. The bond between them had been irreparably damaged.
"What have I done?" she thought, tears welling up again. How could she face Fugaku after this? Her engagement was likely over, and her honour tarnished. As she wiped away her tears, the weight of her decision seemed heavier than ever.
Meanwhile, Yuichi walked away, indifferent to Mikoto's suffering. He had achieved what he wanted—Mikoto's submission—and more importantly, the rewards from the mysterious system that had been guiding him.
"System, show me the rewards," Yuichi commanded, recalling the notification he had received during his encounter with Mikoto.
A robotic voice echoed in his mind: [Ding, congratulations to the Host for acquiring: Mangekyō Sharingan, Evil Value +50,000.]
Yuichi's eyes widened. "Mangekyō Sharingan? And fifty thousand evil points?"
This was a massive gain, far exceeding what he had expected. Even his extortion often million ryo from the Uchiha clan patriarch paled in comparison to this windfall.
He had finally obtained the legendary Mangekyō Sharingan, almost the pinnacle of the Uchiha clan's dojutsu.
Unable to contain his excitement, Yuichi focused his thoughts on the system's notification.
"System, extract the reward."
As the system processed his request, a surge of energy flowed into his eyes, followed by a sharp, brief pain. When the discomfort passed, he felt the immense power coursing through his body. His previously strong Sharingan had now evolved into something far more powerful.
Not only had his pupil power increased significantly, but his overall chakra reserves had also grown. He had officially crossed the threshold into Kage-level strength.
Yuichi marvelled at the boost in his abilities, realizing he was now a true Kage-level shinobi, and with Mangekyō Sharingan, his combat power was among the best.
"Let's see what my Mangekyō Sharingan abilities are," he muttered. The system had granted him not only the dojutsu but also two unique techniques.
His right eye's ability was Tsukuyomi, a powerful genjutsu that could trap opponents in a nightmarish illusion. In this realm, Yuichi controlled everything—time, space, and even the victim's perception of pain.
It was nearly impossible to defend against, as one merely needed to meet his gaze to be ensnared.
The ability of his left eye, however, was even more terrifying. It granted him the power to stop time. He could freeze time for a brief period, rendering his enemies helpless.
The duration of the time-stop depended on his chakra reserves and pupil power, but even a few seconds could turn the tide of any battle.
"Time-stop... this ability is practically unbeatable," Yuichi thought, though he noted that it consumed a massive amount of chakra. Still, the potential of such a technique was staggering.
On top of these powerful abilities, Yuichi could also summon the legendary Susanoo, an indestructible avatar of chakra that could wreak havoc on the battlefield. With this, he had become one of the most dangerous shinobi in the world.
"This is incredible. And to think it all came from my encounter with Uchiha Mikoto."
Yuichi felt exhilarated by his newfound strength. Power had always been his ultimate goal—above money, women, or status. With the Mangekyō Sharingan now in his possession, his path to dominance had become clearer than ever.
Yet, despite this monumental achievement, he remained unsatisfied. The Mangekyō Sharingan, as powerful as it was, had its flaws. Prolonged use would eventually lead to blindness, a risk Ye Feng could not afford to take.
"I need to evolve this into the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan," Yuichi resolved. The only way to do that was to transplant the Mangekyō Sharingan of a blood relative, but Yuichi had no siblings. His only option was to rely on the system once more to find a way to remove this limitation.
Until then, he would have to use the Mangekyō Sharingan sparingly.
"I've come a long way, but my journey isn't over. I will become even stronger," Yuichi thought, his ambition burning brighter than ever.
