Uchiha Fugaku sat brooding, his face darkening as he listened to his subordinate's report.
"What did you say? Yuichi was at the elder's house for more than two hours?"
The report had left him seething. His mind churned with suspicion—especially since the elder was away during Yuichi's visit, leaving only Uchiha Mikoto, his fiancée, at home.
Two hours, alone. Uchiha Fugaku's face twisted with anger as he tried to dismiss the unsettling thoughts flooding his mind, but the implications were impossible to ignore.
"Do you know what Yuichi did while he was there?"
His Sharingan flared to life, the three tomoe spinning ominously as he tried to maintain his composure. He wanted to control his emotions, but his breathing had already quickened. His trusted informant, visibly nervous, spoke up, choosing his words carefully.
"I didn't dare to get too close, but I saw him embrace Uchiha Mikoto outside the house. Later, before he left, Uchiha Mikoto pulled him back inside, and they shut the door. I couldn't hear their conversation."
The distance had prevented him from seeing or hearing much more, but he had relayed enough. Fugaku clenched his fists, his nails digging into his palms as the realization hit him like a ton of bricks. Yuichi had been seen embracing Mikoto—his fiancée. The rage that boiled inside him was too great to contain.
"Bang!"
Fugaku slammed the table in front of him, flipping it over in a fit of rage. He barely noticed the crash of broken wood as he began smashing everything in sight, blinded by fury.
His Sharingan spun rapidly, the tomoe on the verge of merging into Mangekyō form. But the evolution didn't come. It seemed his pain wasn't deep enough, or his anger not yet destructive enough.
"Yuichi!"
The name exploded from his mouth, dripping with venom. In his mind, he saw Yuichi laughing at him, mocking him for his naivety.
His informant flinched as Fugaku turned on him, eyes still blood-red. Without hesitation, Fugaku pulled out a kunai and drove it into the man's chest.
"This cannot be allowed to spread. No one can know about this." He twisted the knife, watching his loyal follower collapse to the floor.
If rumours circulated, his standing as a future clan leader would be in jeopardy. Who would follow a man humiliated like this? His reputation as a strong and capable Uchiha leader would be shattered.
He needed to keep it quiet, but deep down, Fugaku knew that he had to bide his time. If he wanted to exact revenge on Yuichi, he needed power—he needed to become the Uchiha patriarch first.
The thought of Mikoto brought fresh bile to his throat. She had been his pride, the most beautiful woman in the clan and his future wife. But now, all he felt was disgust. The image of her with Yuichi made him clench his fists, his knuckles turning white.
"How could she do this?"
Fugaku's heart hardened. A woman who could betray him like this didn't deserve to be the wife of the clan leader. He would deal with her, but first, he needed to focus on eliminating Yuichi. His rage now turned toward the elder as well. If he had truly been a supporter, how could he allow this to happen under his own roof?

Meanwhile, Yuichi lounged in his quarters, unfazed by the chaos his actions had caused.

A grin spread across Yuichi's face as he heard the system's notification. Things were falling into place perfectly.
"I don't even know how they calculate these rewards, but I'm not complaining." Yuichi chuckled to himself.
This mission had been especially rewarding. Not only had he indulged in Mikoto's beauty, but he had sown discord within the clan, further weakening Fugaku's position. The elder and Fugaku were now distrustful of each other, and that served Yuichi's interests.
With the wealth of evil points he had accumulated, Yuichi opened up the system shop.
"It's time to spend some of this."
Previously, he had been saving his points, waiting for the perfect opportunity to purchase something that would elevate him even further. Now that he had unlocked Mangekyō Sharingan, he felt it was time to take the next step in his journey to power.
"System, is everything in this world available for purchase?"
[The system only offers items from the current world. Otherworldly items can only be obtained through special rewards.]
Yuichi scrolled through the available skills and techniques, his eyes widening at the prices.
"These are outrageously expensive."
The cheapest S-rank ninjutsu alone was priced at 100,000 points. Skills related to rare abilities like the Nara clan's shadow imitation techniques were priced even higher. Yuichi shook his head in disbelief.
"Hatake Sakumo's sword techniques are worth over 100,000? No wonder he was known as Konoha's White Fang."
Still, Yuichi wasn't ready to blow his points on just anything. He had greater ambitions. The Mangekyō Sharingan had its flaws, after all, including the risk of eventual blindness. To counter that, he needed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
"But to achieve that, I'd need a sibling's Mangekyō... and I don't have any siblings."
The thought brought a scowl to Yuichi's face. Without a sibling to transplant eyes from, he would have to rely on the system. He couldn't afford to waste his Mangekyō power recklessly until he found a way to evolve it.
"Kenta and Sota should be arriving soon," eh muttered to himself.
Moments later, Uchiha Kenta and Uchiha Sota appeared before him, both eager for their next mission.
"Captain, what mission do you have for us?"
"I've got something important for you both."
The two young Uchiha stood at attention, ready for any orders. They were fiercely loyal to Yuichi, willing to undertake any task, no matter how dangerous.
"Your mission is to take care of the second and third elders. They've been meeting with Uchiha Fugaku, and I suspect they've sided with him. Can you handle it?"
Kenta and Sota exchanged glances before nodding firmly.
"Consider it done."
The two elders had been a thorn in Yuichi's side, supporting Fugaku for their own selfish gain. By eliminating them, they would further weaken Fugaku's influence in the clan. The elders had been bribed by Fugaku with lavish gifts, but that wouldn't save them from Yuichi's wrath.
