Yuichi stood poised, ready to deal with Uchiha Shimana and Uchiha Wu, but the First Elder interrupted him with a stern look.
"I hope you will show mercy. After all, we are all from the same clan," the elder said, his expression troubled.
Yuichi met his gaze, a smirk playing on his lips. He hadn't expected this from the elder, but he wasn't surprised either. The elder looked uneasy, realizing the young man before him was capable of ruthlessness. Yuichi had already assassinated two elders and captured Shimana and Wu, effectively sealing their fates.
"You don't need to teach me what to do, Elder," Yuichi responded, his tone calm but firm. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have more pressing matters to attend to—like dealing with the murderer of the two elders."
He turned to leave, but after a few steps, he paused and glanced over his shoulder. "A word of advice, Elder—protect yourself. In this world, you need to think about your own survival and that of those around you."
With that, Yuichi vanished in a flash, leaving the elder standing there, contemplating his words. The elder sighed, feeling the weight of his age.
His days were numbered, but what about his family? More importantly, what about Mikoto? He sensed that Fugaku's attitude toward him had shifted, and the elder suspected it had something to do with Ye Feng.
In the Konoha Guard's interrogation room, Uchiha Shimana's agonized screams echoed through the halls. Uchiha Kenta, ever loyal to Yuichi, stood over him, his face emotionless.
"Why did you assassinate the two elders?" Kenta asked coldly. Shimana's body was riddled with injuries, blood seeping from his wounds.
Shimana glared at Sasuke through the pain. "You're nothing but Yuichi's lackey. You'll die like a dog!" he spat, defiant even in his torment.
Yuichi entered the room, clapping slowly as he approached. "You're quite tough, Shimana," he said, his voice filled with false admiration. "Why not join me instead? I could use someone like you."
"Over my dead body!" Shimana snarled. "I'd rather die than serve a snake like you."
Yuichi's eyes glinted with cold amusement. "A man of principles, I see."
In one swift motion, Yuichi drew his sword, the blade flashing through the air. Shimana's head fell to the floor, his defiance silenced forever.
Uchiha Kenta blinked, barely able to process the speed of Yuichi's attack. "Your swordsmanship is incredible, Lord Yuichi," Sasuke muttered, astonished.
Yuichi smirked, wiping the blood from his blade. "Dispose of the body, and don't forget to harvest his eyes. Those Three Tomoe Sharingan will be useful to someone in the future."
Kenta nodded, moving to carry out the grisly task.
[Ding! You have killed Uchiha Shimana. Reward: 10 explosive tags, 2000 evil points.]
"Killing an Elite Jōnin only gives me 2000 points? What a rip-off," Yuichi muttered to himself.
[Host, regardless of the strength of the target, the evil points earned will diminish over time. Eventually, killing will only net you 100 points per person.]
"Damn," Yuichi cursed under his breath. "So much for thinking that I will rack up points during the war. I'll need to kill 100,000 people just to get the Rinnegan."
There were so many abilities he desired, but the diminishing returns on evil points meant he couldn't rely solely on killing. He needed to think smarter, not just act as a mindless murderer.
"It seems trickery and manipulation get the highest rewards, huh?" Yuichi mused.
"This system shouldn't be called the 'villain system,' it's more like the 'schemer system.'"
[...Loud Silence from the system...]
"Not denying it, huh?" Yuichi chuckled. "Fine, if that's what it takes to reach my goals, so be it."
As Yuichi's internal dialogue ended, Kenta was still marvelling at his lord's abilities. The room felt heavy with the tension of what had just occurred.
"What about Uchiha Wu?" Sasuke asked, his voice low. "Shimana was accused of killing the elders, so it's justifiable. But Uchiha Wu? He only attacked you in defence of Fugaku. His crime is minor."
Yuichi thought for a moment before responding. "If he's smart, he'll walk out of here alive. But if he's not... well, he'll be dealt with."
Yuichi moved to the next room where Uchiha Wu was being held. The man glared at him, hatred burning in his eyes.
"I already know what your answer will be," Yuichi said, his voice calm as he stared at Wu. "But I'll ask you anyway—will you join me? There's no future with Fugaku."
Wu's face twisted in disgust. "Fugaku saved my life. I'll never betray him."
Yuichi sighed, shaking his head in disappointment. "Loyalty is admirable, but ignorance is a shame. What a waste of talent."
Without another word, the room echoed with the sound of breaking bones, followed by a pained scream.
[Ding! You have crippled Uchiha Wu. Reward: 50 soldier pills, 1000 evil points.]
When Yuichi finally left the room, Uchiha Wu was a broken man, both literally and figuratively. His arms and legs were shattered, rendering him incapable of ever fighting again. He lay there, his ninja career over.
"I'll spare your life this time, Wu," Yuichi said, his tone casual. "But don't forget—cross me again, and not only will you die, but your family will perish as well."
As he turned to leave, Yuichi added one final comment. "If you can find Tsunade, maybe she'll heal you. But good luck with that."
Everyone knew Tsunade had long since left the village, and even if she hadn't, the chances of her helping an Uchiha were slim to none. The bad blood between the Uchiha and Senju clans ran too deep.
When word of Shimana's death and Wu's crippling reached Uchiha Fugaku, his anger boiled over. In a fit of rage, his wounds reopened, spilling fresh blood.
"Yuichi, you're ruthless," Fugaku muttered to himself, bitterness filling his heart. Three of his Elite Jōnin had supported him, but now one was dead, and another was a broken shell of a man. The two elders were also dead, leaving Fugaku with fewer allies and growing doubts about who was left to trust.
Even the First Elder, someone he once relied on, now seemed suspect, possibly working for Yuichi behind the scenes. Fugaku clenched his fists, feeling his grip on the Uchiha clan slipping.
"What can I do now?" he whispered, knowing that his options were growing limited. Yuichi's shadow loomed ever larger over the Uchiha clan, and Fugaku realized that defeating him might be impossible.
