A/N: I know some don't want to see what the Doctor does without the main Character but this is different it has changed slightly because of the MCs intervention, I can't put it here because it spoils the chapter but another Authors not will be at the end so see you there.

3rd person
In a deserted alley, the air starts to vibrate in waves. As time goes on, the waves get faster till out of nowhere, two men and a woman appear. After appearing, the woman leans on the wall while holding her head.
These individuals are the Doctor, Jack and Martha back from the future after using Jack's vortex manipulator, not the most comfortable of time travel methods, but it worked; that's the only consolation for them, though, as they move on to the street, discussing there next course of action Martha notice that they missed the election.
The Doctor had just told them that he would recognise the Master on site, when Martha brings up the election, just as on the display connected to a light pole, the news display the new prime minister of Great Britain, the Doctor, upon seeing the new prime minister, speaks only two words, "That's him".
The moment he does it, it dawns on Martha that the Master is the Prime Minister who controls Great Britain. The Doctor, however, is in disbelief that the master is the Prime Minister of Britain. Not long after, the Master begins a speech about how Britain is ill, even stating that what the country needs most is a Doctor, with an emphasis on the word 'Doctor'.
Jack and Martha are not stupid; they realise that the master is speaking to the Doctor himself. Not waiting any longer, they head to Martha's home. They arrive quickly, and the first thing they discuss is that while the Doctor has been travelling with Martha, the master has been here the whole time preparing.
Jack, on the other hand, takes the laptop that Martha had picked up from the bed before going to Harold Saxon's website to show the Doctor. Just as the Doctor is about to look, the TV turns on to show Harold Saxon giving a speech.
Not long later, the tree realises that there's a bomb attached to the TV and does what any sane person would do: get the hell out of there. Once they get out, there's an explosion, blowing Martha's entire room to rubble, and the Doctor did not forget to take the laptop, though.
The first thing Martha does once they are out is call her mother. Unfortunately, both her mother and father are being forced to lure Martha for capture; however, her father does what any father would tell his daughter to do: run.
However, Martha ignores him, moving to the nearest car while yelling at the Doctor, and the Doctor, being who he is, helps her take a vehicle. Once all three are in the car, Martha puts her foot down on the accelerator, heading straight for her mother's home.
Unfortunately, upon their arrival, they are met with SWAT teams taking both Martha's mother and father away, putting them in a police van, seeing her brother, her parents yell for her to run. In contrast, the SWAT team turns their guns towards the car Martha is driving. Seeing this, both Jack and the Doctor tell her to drive.
Martha, with some reluctance, reverses the car before turning around while avoiding the bullets being shot at them and drives away. Once they are far enough, Jack states that they need to ditch the car.
After ditching the car, they walk. Martha calls her brother. Unfortunately for her, the master is eavesdropping, causing the Doctor to take the Phone and talk to him. Once the Master taunts the Doctor, for a few minutes, the Doctor ends the call, while the Master yells, "Run, Doctor, run."
Once he ends the call, he tells Jack and Martha that they will run as they flee, heading in the direction of an abandoned warehouse. The very same warehouse that the Mechanic had left a few gifts to help them.
Once inside the laptop, the Doctor's hands were detected by the warehouse security system that the Mechanic had installed; however, recognising it as Martha's laptop, it sent a video message to it. The Doctor, Jack and Martha move some of the old storage pallets to make a makeshift seat for each of them once they sit down. Marth suggests going to get some food, to which the Doctor nods, thinking about what to do about the whole situation.
While the Doctor was in his thoughts, Martha had already left. He did not come out of his thought till Martha arrived back, where she handed both the Doctor and Jack some food. It's at this moment that Jack receives a notification from the vortex manipulator, which he had connected to the Torchwood servers, seeing that someone had sent Torchwood something, he pulls the laptop open, intending to see what it is. The moment he does, the laptop starts playing a video.
"Hey Jack, Doctor, and of course Martha, now I know the situation is bleak at best, I can't do anything directly, unfortunately, these events are a necessity, and I am sure you know what I mean. Doctor, I would change them if I could. Anyway, enough of the negative. Just because I can't do anything directly does not mean I can' tip the scales a bit, there's a hidden compartment in the wall right next to where the three of you are sitting. Inside are some gestures that will be helpful, and Martha, I have made some arrangements with your Family; they will not be harmed in any way. There's also a portable cloaking device, along with the means to charge it. Unfortunately, it's designed for someone of Martha's size, sorry, Jack—no Cloaking device for you. Anyway, back to business, I made a few modifications to the master's archangel network, a key to the backdoor is included in the stash of gadgets. Do what you do best, Doctor. Save the world".
With that final comment, the video ends. Both Martha and Jack looked stunned, while the Doctor is grinning ear to ear, realising he now has the tools to stop the master; however, he is rather unsettled about what the mechanic said about not being able to change the events that are to come, it could mean two things a fixed point or the events that happen here set up for a future that has the best outcome that the Mechanic has seen, that's right there are times that a Time Lord can glimpse at the future. He believes that what happened to the Mechanic.
With the video over, Jack reveals that he works for Torchwood to the Doctor while they watch the video from the journalist, making use of the mobile phone and TARDIS keys, to create, for all intents and purposes, ignore me keys, that cause people mind to ingnnore the existence of the wearer to be ignored by the part of the brain that handles sound and visual data. This causes people to ignore the existence of the wearer; unfortunately, it's not perfect, as the clothing device is like a spider that latches onto an individual's chest. However, it's small enough to hide under clothes.
The Doctor hands it to Martha knowing full well the Mechanics intenstions, the Doctor felt he was trying to prevent another Rose incident, by ensuring that regardless of what happens Martha has a way to get out as for why the doctor thinks this it's because the moment the device is close to Martha it comes alive jumping from the doctors hand onto the floor rushing towards Martha before climbing up her and going under her shirt and attaching itself to her unable to be removed.
Martha panics at this, but the Doctor reassures her that it's fine, and that its purpose was to keep her safe. He still hands her one of the modified keys, knowing the device was for the worst-case scenario, one he hoped would never happen.
Mechanic pov
As the Doctor and the other distribute the gadgets I gave them I am currently sitting at the laptop I made observing them, as I watch them put the keys around there neck I notice that I can still seem them my mind is not ignoring them is it because I am immune to the arch angel network or some other reason I don't know but it works out in my favor.
I watch as they start moving the streets, making their way to the one place they know the Master will appear: the air strip where the President of the United States of America will be arriving, to take over the first contact with the Toclafay, or, to be more specific, his death.
And, as one would assume, the events that follow are the same as the episode, all leading to the Doctor getting caught, are pretty amusing to see happen when it's not just a TV show but real people. The entire plan was foolish at best, showing how soft the Doctor is. Still, I suppose that's what makes him who he is.
It ends the same way as Martha escapes, just like in the episode. I stand up before speaking, "Time to start phase two, then hope you're ready for things to go to hell difficulty Master, because by hook or crook, Martha will bring your end not with a weapon but with a story".
--------------------------------------------------------
A/N: her it is ok so having the doctors bit is actually important, now you may be asking having a backdoor into the archangel network would not do much, but that's where you are wrong, you remember the keys he made with Martha's phone and the TARDIS keys well that relied on the already built code in the archangel network, so let me ask you what the doctor could do with having access. Theoretically he could make those keys far stronger in effect than they originally were, hense why MC said tipping the balance, most of the stuff they got tho was more for Martha's year than never was since just avoiding perception is not a guarantee that she was not be found earlier than needed, this is not a show anymore especially for the MC it's his reality and reality does not always go as you want or hope, so the cloaking device was a means to ensure Martha could do what was planned safely. As for why MC did not just shoot the master, that's an easy one without these events Martha would never have stayed with her family meaning no Donna noble, so MC could have done that but It means either Donna never appears or time does something to ensure she does, anyway hope you liked this chapter.
