Chapter 1 - Ch-:1 The Possibility And System

So this is how I die.

If you're wondering why I'm so calm about it, the answer is simple—there's nothing special about the situation. It's a scene straight out of a cliché novel.

My name is Sogen. I'm about to die because I pushed a child out of the path of a speeding truck. The kind of ending where the protagonist sacrifices himself and, if the stories are to be believed, gets reincarnated.

But will that really happen to me?

If it does… then next time, I hope for a life without struggle. Or failing that—one blessed with wealth.

Sogen who has been reincarnated.

It has been fourteen years since I was reincarnated on this planet, called the Land of Amelior—also known as the Land of Cultivation. There is only one continent here, as the entire surface of the planet is connected.

Sogen is reincarnated in Vesga Clan. One of the 6 strongest clans located in western parts of Amelior, in one of the 70 empires, Empire Baiso.

He was practicing his Cultivation technique in outermost courtyard of Vesga Clan with other outer disciples thinking that he will become the strongest one day.

Then suddenly he hears a voice. "Brother, are you still practicing? You should give yourself some rest."

It was Sogen's little sister.

"Sogen stops his practice and he asks his little sister Lianer that what she was doing there."

" Brother I came to see your training "

In a somber tone, she asks, "Brother, do you remember that tomorrow is the awakening ceremony? If you fail to reach the third stage, you will be banished from the clan."

"Lianer, do not worry. I have trained relentlessly for this moment," Sogen says in a calm, reassuring voice."

After that, they talk for some time, then Lianer says goodbye to her brother and leaves.

After his sister's departure, Sogen says quietly, "When I was born into this world, I believed I could live a carefree life—but I was wrong."

He looks down at his hands and reflects that, in this world, every person is born with an innate talent—one that can shape their future. He was born with an "SSS"-grade talent: Everything Is Mine.

"When my talent was revealed, the entire clan was shaken. It had been thousands of years since an SSS-grade talent last appeared. Elders and counselors alike rushed forward, eager for their descendants to forge ties with my family."

His lips curve into a faint, bitter smile.

"But time passed, and my cultivation never advanced. Those smiles faded first… then the people themselves. The ones who once crowded around me vanished, and some even began to curse me in the shadows."

"In the end, only my family remained by my side. Yet tomorrow, even that bond will be severed by the clan's rules."

"According to those rules, anyone who fails to reach the third stage of the Earth Realm before the age of fifteen is expelled from the clan."

"I began cultivating at ten. I trained without rest, consumed countless pills, and never once slacked off. And yet…"

"My cultivation has not advanced even a single stage. I am still stuck at the first stage, unable to break through to the second."

"Meanwhile, others in the clan have already reached the fifth stage of the Earth Realm. Some have even stepped into the King Realm."

Sogen finishes speaking in one breath. His fists clench as frustration and bitterness churn violently within his chest.

Within the Vesga Clan, power was held by a single clan leader, four counselors, and twelve elders.

Sogen's family had once stood among the counselors. But with each passing generation, their bloodline grew weaker, and their former glory slowly faded into memory.

His grandfather, Arslan Vesga, still clung to the dream of reclaiming their lost seat on the council.

Yet as the cultivation potential of their lineage continued to decline, that dream became increasingly distant—until only a fragile thread of hope remained.

Sogen understood this better than anyone. He knew his grandfather's wishes, the expectations left unspoken, and the silent burden that now rested squarely on his own shoulders.

After countless hours of cultivation, he returned to his bed, holding onto a fragile hope that fate might yet grant him a miracle.

NEXT DAY

Inside the clan's Pavilion Hall stood a massive stone altar, its surface carved with mysterious, ancient symbols. Above it hovered a translucent crystal sphere, slowly rotating and radiating a faint, otherworldly glow.

One by one, a clan official announced names, calling each member forward to undergo the evaluation.

When Sogen Vesga was called, he stepped onto the stage in silence and placed his hand upon the pavilion.

The crystal sphere flared with white light. Moments later, radiant golden words emerged upon the pavilion's surface:

Earth Realm — Mid First Stage

Sogen's expression darkened instantly, the weight of reality settling heavily upon him. The sadness in his eyes was impossible to conceal.

Murmurs rippled through the crowd, quickly turning into whispers, ridicule, and thinly veiled mockery.

The announcer's voice rang out coldly, cutting through the noise.

"Sogen Vesga remains at the First Stage of the Earth Realm."

"According to clan law, he is hereby stripped of his status as a Vesga clan member and banished from the clan's city—Somaal."

After hearing it, Sogen was not reacting at all, he found himself in a different place. He then saw a system window before him with a notification on it: "System Host Detected, Merge With Host Complete."

At that moment, a translucent system window materializes before him, a single notification flashing across its surface:

ULTIMATE CULTIVATOR SYSTEM — MERGED

Sogen slowly regained consciousness, his mind caught between two extremes—elation at the system's awakening and despair at his exile from the clan.

He descended from the stage in silence. The voices of his family reached his ears, yet he did not stop to listen. Without turning back, he returned to his room.

He packed his belongings methodically, each movement heavy with self-reproach. When he finally stepped out, he did not look back. Disappointment clung to him like a shadow as he left, his heart weighed down by the bitterness of his own perceived failure.

Figures waited beyond the clan gate—his sister, his uncle, his father… and his grandfather.

Sogen's steps slowed. Of everyone there, it was his grandfather's reaction that weighed most heavily on his heart.

Before he could gather the courage to speak, a familiar voice broke the silence.

It was his grandfather.

"Sogen, my grandson, do not worry," Arslan says gently.

"None of us are angry, nor are we disappointed in you. You have done everything within your power—worked harder than anyone else."

He pauses, his gaze steady and warm.

"This is not your fault. Heaven tests those it seeks to temper. Your time has simply not yet come."

Silence follows his words, which are broken only by the quiet nods of those standing behind him.

After a brief pause, his grandfather speaks again, his voice gentle yet resolute.

"Sogen, if you truly wish it, we can leave the clan behind and find another place—somewhere we can live in peace."

The words strike Sogen like a blow. His vision blurs as tears gather in his eyes, and he steps forward, pulling his grandfather into a tight embrace.

"Grandpa, there's no need for you to leave the clan," he says, his voice shaking. "Lianer possesses an A-grade, threefold cultivation talent. This place will give her the resources she deserves."

He tightens his grip, his gaze hardening with resolve.

"One day, I will become the strongest—stronger than anyone."

""You will, my son," his grandfather replies.

One by one, everyone steps forward to embrace him, tears glistening in their eyes as they see him off.

His father, Navsa, and his uncle, Anderson, then come forward and place a bag in his hands.

"Nephew," his uncle says softly, "this is our family's savings from the past year—fifty thousand gold coins. It should help you on your journey."

The figure leaves Sogen momentarily speechless. He knows all too well what such a sum represents—enough for an ordinary person to live in comfort for a lifetime without ever lifting a finger.

He refuses at first, unwilling to accept such a burden, but his family does not give him the chance to persist. Under their insistence, he finally accepts the bag.

After exchanging final farewells, Sogen turns his back on the clan and steps onto the path ahead, beginning his journey alone.

GUYS I KNOW THAT SOME OF YOU MAY FIND THE STARTING BORING. BUT THE REAL JOURNEY WILL START NOW AND I WILL KEEP SURE THAT YOU WILL ENJOY IT .
