This was a troublesome situation. With the huge amount of sabre tigers. Even bystanders must get involved. The captain realized this and was about to convey a strategy but was interrupted by the attacks of the tigers
The captain blocked a leap from the rank 2 sabre tooth while simultaneously ducked down to avoid the bite of a rank 1. The remaining soldiers at a standstill before began battling the tigers. Both sides fighting for survival. This fight continued for another 20 minutes
One of the rank 1 tigers broke from the ranks and began heading towards the girls. The captain seeing this attempted to intervene but was blocked by the rank 2 tiger. With 7 losses on his side and only 4 losses on the tiger's side with two of the kills done by himself, they were getting heavily outnumbered.
Seeing this, he shouted with all his might.
"RUN"
Without a need for repetition or even obvious spelling out the need for them to escape, the three girls began to run to escape the pursuit of the tiger on their tail. They didn't even consider a fight option as their knives combined with their weak strength will not work on any monster above rank 0 and they will just be a hindrance. They do not possess a sword or any other weapon because they weren't proficient in either so they went with knives in case of emergency
They ran continuously for an hour with their sole purpose only of survival. Eventually even their adrenaline and eventually their stamina began to wear out and their vision started becoming blurry.
Eventually, they began to see the mountain in the near distance. Their lips upturned with a wry smile as they were in the place they wanted to be but not in the best of time with them being pursued.
Deciding that running around the mountain was their best choice unless they decided to die by the more agile tiger. They began to turn away only for their bodies to abruptly give up
"Shit" ao ning cursed
With sweat all over their bodies and in no shape to move, they laid sitting on the ground and had given up. The tiger savoring the meal it is about to have and eventually return to its pack
As the tiger lunged towards the throat of its victim, its head was curtly separated from atop its neck. The only thing the tiger saw before dying and the girls saw before losing consciousness were savage silver eyes coming with a predatory grin.
[One hour ago]
[Asura's POV]
Asura was laying atop a tree preparing to doze off to sleep when he suddenly felt new presences in the forest. At first, he decided to ignore it and label them as another set of boring individuals but when three unique people entered the forest, his interest piqued
The three felt weak and their aura was vastly different to the ones he was used to.
He decided to check it out to satisfy his curiosity.
The girl supposedly wanting to accompany him to sleep changed her plans upon noticing his interest in the 'newcomers' though she was not sure which one caught his interest and why.

Ming then returned into the castle to retrieve her cloak while Asura headed towards the auras.
After more than 20 minutes of running, he reached the knights and saw them in a losing battle but the auras had left. Using his senses, he located the auras once again. Not caring about the lives of the soldiers, he jumped over the battlefield and sprinted.
This though distracted the tigers enough to give the soldiers an advantage.
Reaching the girls in a little less than 40 minutes, he found them on the ground cornered by the tiger.
Feeling intrigue towards the new set of people, he didn't wish for their death so he jumped from the tree he was on and used his claws and sliced apart through the neck of the sabre toothed tiger. Delighted he was by how satisfying it felt.

While the tiger felt numbing pain form having his neck brutally severed, the girls all had one thought in mind
