Long ago the imp demon swirled around the devil as he dodge his attacks. The devil was upset that the imp demon was using his powers against him, and caused the tables to turn.
A series of flashbacks begins as Maestro explained his past life to Sylvester. His time in the underworld, purgatory, and most importantly his final battle against Rex. The flashbacks ended once he had finished his story. Razor stated that it was foolish of him to challenge the chaos demon. Stating that he was the most dangerous demon in purgatory. Sylvester then asked in a sarcastic manner how Razor was able to coexist with such a dangerous demon. Razor growled at Sylvester briefly before answering. As he answers another flashback starts.
He states that Rex challenged him also when he first arrived. Due to his powers, Razor was able to take the fight into Rex's mind. Although, the mind of the chaos demon was even more chaotic than he could handle. Seeing his powers wore off of Rex faster than any other demon, he decided to run off, and strategize. However, it didn't take long for Rex to find him. Razor explained that the two of them fought a couple more times, and each encounter he barely managed to escape. Rex was also getting annoyed by Razor's manipulation powers. So the two decided stay away from each other. Both acknowledging the other for their strengths.
The flashback ends with Razor telling the two that he was mentally stronger than Rex, but Rex was physically stronger. Maestro looked down absorbing the information he just heard. He looks at his hand while stating that during his fight with Rex he knew deep down he couldn't win, but in that moment he didn't have a choice. Sylvester stared at Maestro in utter amazement. He then states that he knew Maestro was special, but he would've never guessed this. Just then Sylvester had gotten a thought. He turned around to think to himself. Maestro was confused, and wondered what he was thinking about.
Razor then looked at Sylvester as his eyes started to glow. Afterwards, he growled at Sylvester stating that his idea was absurd. Also stating that Maestro couldn't handle such a task. Sylvester turned around, and told Razor to stay out of his head. Stating that next time he'll leave some haunting images for him to see. Maestro was confused about what they were arguing about, and asked what was going on. Sylvester responded that it was none of his business, and that he would be informed when the time comes. Razor angrily barked at Sylvester as his eyes glowed. He lifted his paw sending electricity towards Sylvester shocking him on contact.
The electricity stunned Sylvester as it reaches the electrons in his brain. After doing so, the electricity then spreads through his nervous system causing him to fall completely under Razor's control. Razor forced Sylvester to tell Maestro his sorry excuse a plan. Sylvester's eyes started to glow yellow as he starts telling Maestro his idea. He states that he believes Maestro could defeat Rex if he ate more devil bones. Maestro was shocked hearing this, and shortly after he started to get a headache. The devil agreed with Sylvester's statement, and told Maestro that he should do it. That he needs to consume more. Razor's ability started to wear off as Sylvester shakes off the electricity. He angrily tells Razor to never do that again. Razor growled back stating that he does what he wants. Addressing him as an idiot.
Maestro was hearing them as they continued to argue. Their background noise was becoming just as loud as the devil's laughter. Sylvester stated that eating more bones would make Maestro unstoppable. Razor angrily rebutted that he would become the next devil. Which is exactly what the devil wants. Hearing this the devil yells loudly inside Maestro's head causing the headache to hurt even more. He screams loudly in pain catching both Sylvester, and Razor's attention. Maestro yells out for them to shut up as he starts banging his head. He then tells them that he's not going anywhere near the devil bones. Razor nodded his head in approval, but Sylvester was not happy with his statement.
He questioned Maestro, then states that he just found out some bizarre information about himself, and wants to do nothing with it. Maestro replied that there's nothing left to do. Razor then asked Maestro what was he planning to do next. He didn't really have a set answer, although he was thinking about going back to the underworld. Sylvester's attitude rose as he asks another question in a snarky manner. Asking about how Maestro would handle the devil, and the headaches. Maestro responded that he'll figure it out as he goes.
Sylvester was now highly upset. Yelling at Maestro calling him boring. Stating that he has so much potential, and yet has no desire to reach it. He repeatedly asked Maestro why, getting closer every time he speaks. As Sylvester approached, Maestro could feel him triggering a headache. He yells out in anger before pushing Sylvester to the ground. Sylvester was confused, and was even more shocked when he looked up to see tears coming from Maestro's eyes. Maestro yells out that it's because he's tired. He might not be physically tired, but he's mentally exhausted. He has no family, and no where to go. He's done fighting, and just wants to live peacefully. Razor then stated that there is no such thing as peace in hell, but he respects his beliefs. Maestro thanked him as he wipes his tears.
Sylvester gets up stating that crying is something that only humans do. Wondering if he felt no anger about his situation. Asking him why he didn't want revenge. Maestro looked off to the side as he thinks about the chaos demon. He takes a deep breath then repeats that he's done fighting. Especially a battle he's not going to win. At that moment Maestro had made up his mind. He was leaving purgatory, and living in his hometown village, the underworld.
