Chapter 650 - Chapter 649: The Furious Bear's Assault and the Two Assassins

Still angry, Ivan looked around, pulling out the gun from his leg and shooting the vampires who hadn't completely turned to ash but were already dead.

When he used the helmet's zoom function and saw a van parked over 100 meters away in the dark, he asked Sunday, "That van looks suspicious. Sunday, do you think I should check it out?"

Hearing that Ivan, the violent bear, was actually asking for instructions, William felt his earlier concerns ease. It seemed the guy wasn't as brainless as he looked and had a clever streak after all.

After thinking for a moment, William shook his head and laughed, realizing his worries were unnecessary.

If Ivan really were mindless, Antonov would never have included him in his team. Moreover, Ivan had been protecting William's mother for so long, always standing in front of Lina as a human bullet shield without ever making a mistake.

"Forget it, let him have fun. Sunday, send out the ammo supply drone."

"Understood, SIR."

Upon hearing Sunday's response, Ivan excitedly bent his legs and jumped, leaping seven or eight meters into the air, and easily crossed the estate's iron fence. He crouched and then roared, charging toward the van 100 meters away.

The vampire driver saw Ivan's leap and immediately realized they had been discovered. He turned to the van's occupants, shouting, "We've been discovered! Attack, attack now!"

However, before the six fully armored vampires could react and open the doors, Ivan, dressed in armor and capable of reaching 2.9 seconds for 100 meters, crashed into the van.

With a loud bang, the entire vehicle flipped over, crashing into a tree about ten meters away.

"Snap, snap!" The van broke in two, and the tree, under the recoil, split and fell onto the van.

"Hahaha!" Ivan laughed heartily, patting his helmet.

After checking that the armor was still fine, he grinned at Yakov and Valenkin, who had come to assist.

"I love this armor. God, I feel like I could flip a tank over with this!"

"Shut up, Ivan."

This wasn't the time for jokes. Yakov, holding two guns, and Valenkin, in a similar stance, followed the helmet's scanner and opened fire on the vampires, who were now stumbling out of the wreckage.

"Rat-a-tat, rat-a-tat!"

A flurry of bullets, with a purple glow, tore through the night, striking down seven or eight vampires.

As soon as a vampire was hit, purple light would emit from their body.

Those struck in the torso instantly died, while those hit in the arms quickly lost their fighting ability and fell.

Meanwhile, Antonov, having replaced his ammo box, walked over. The fight was nearly over.

"Call Kinshman's people to clean up."

William, who had been watching the action with amusement, chuckled. "What a damp squib. These vampires really underestimated me. They couldn't even get past the polar bear, and the fight's already over?"

Just as he finished speaking, the sound of blades clashing, "Clang, clang, clang," came from the Mark III armor.

"Snap!"

Alarmed, William immediately equipped his helmet.

Through his helmet's display, he saw Black Ghost, dressed in black, ninja-style armor, fighting with two other assassins dressed in matching black combat suits and face masks, their eyes showing infrared readings. They were battling near the side wall of the estate's closest villa.

"SIR, these two assassins tried to use a parachute to fly from the eastern villa's roof to the main building, but as soon as they appeared, I shot them down. Black Ghost intercepted them."

"Damn it." William frowned at the sight of the three fighters, only about forty meters away from the main building.

The estate in London covered 13 acres, approximately 200 meters long and 263 meters wide, which equals just over 52,700 square meters. Before, it hadn't seemed too small.

But now, the limitations were obvious. William quickly realized the estate was too small.

"Call Anthony from the Yueshida Law Firm. Tell him I want to buy up all the villas around here, and then demolish the ones that are too close and obstructing."

"Understood, SIR. Task sent."

After venting his frustrations, William focused back on the battle.

He noticed, upon closer inspection, one of the assassins was actually a woman.

Looking at the support from Antonov's team, who had arrived, William gave an order through the communication channel.

"Capture the girl alive."

Upon hearing this command, Black Ghost, who had been mercilessly subduing the two assassins, didn't pause, but adjusted the angle of his strikes.

With a quick change in tactics, the two assassins, who were nearly out of options, quickly realized that Black Ghost had shifted his focus away from the female assassin's vital points.

It didn't take long for the male assassin to realize what was happening, but by then, the female assassin had already given up her defense. She and her partner intensified their attacks, thinking they could finally take down Black Ghost.

However, after several minutes, they were dispirited to find they still couldn't defeat him.

The person in black armor was faster than them and seemed to never tire. His moves were also much more skilled and varied. Every time they made a move, he effortlessly countered it.

Their morale plummeting, it only took a few more moves for the male assassin to be stabbed through the chest.

As Black Ghost prepared to finish off the male assassin, the female assassin screamed, "Wait!"

The reason for her outburst became clear—during the fight, Black Ghost had deliberately gone easy on her, signaling to her that William, the estate's owner, wanted her alive.

She quickly added, "Don't kill him. We surrender."

Hearing this, Black Ghost pulled his blade out of the male assassin's chest, but as the blade came free, dark energy emanated from the wound.

The female assassin gasped, "Damn, it's a silver knife!"

Black Ghost tossed the blade, shaking the blood off in disgust. "Vampires."

"Yasa, how are you?"

Ignoring Black Ghost's comment, the female assassin hurried to her partner, pulling out a vial from her waist pouch. She opened it and poured its contents into his mouth.

After drinking the blood serum, the male assassin's wounds began to heal. In just moments, the injuries closed up, and he was no longer in danger of dying.

Yasa struggled to stand, picking up his knife and sheathing it on his back. He then bowed respectfully to Black Ghost, saying, "Thank you for sparing me. My name is Yasa. This is Nessa. We're here to deliver a message."

"Hah, nice excuse."

A cold snort came from Ivan's armor, and then a virtual image appeared, showing William, dressed in casual clothes, who had been processed by Sunday.

Aside from Ivan, who stood still, Antonov's three men immediately nodded and greeted, "BOSS."

The Black Ghost, probably because he hadn't detected the assassins early enough, knelt on one knee, using his sword as a support, awaiting William's orders.

"Alright, get up," William said, raising his hand. When Black Ghost stood and moved behind the two vampires, William spoke to them, "Take off your hoods."
