Chapter 28 - ch 028 Mr. Huo has a very strange temperament

The individuals present had no idea that the person in question was Lin Nuo, a well-known troublemaker at Huayue High School. Very few people were aware that Lin Nuo was actually Mr. Huo. Lin Nuo recalled that the boy named Chu Han, who was just outside, was the grandson of the sick old man of the Chu family.

Lin Nuo, acting on a whim, replied to the message:

["Send me the patient's condition." ]

The other party appeared to be anticipating Lin Nuo's response. Just a few seconds after Lin Nuo replied, they quickly responded:

["Mr. Huo, please hold on a moment while I upload it for you."]

Lin Nuo soon received detailed medical information about old Mr. Chu. After reviewing the details, Lin Nuo understood why Mr. Chu was so anxious to find him. Given his condition, most hospitals would not be able to cure his disease. As it stands, even with a doctor available 24 hours a day, the old man could only expect to live for a maximum of two to three months.

After reviewing the information, Lin Nuo decided not to respond to Mr. Chu's case and made no promises regarding potential treatments for the elderly man in the Chu family.

On the Chu family's side, Mr. Chu discovered that Dean Yang of Hainuo Hospital had reached out to the renowned doctor, Huo. Upon hearing this news, he felt a great sense of relief and said to Dean Yang, "As long as Mr. Huo can extend my life, I am willing to agree to any request he may have."

Elder Chu didn't want to die just yet. As long as there was any chance to save his life, he was willing to pay any price.

Dean Yang said, "Mr. Chu, please don't worry. Mr. Huo has a very strange temperament. Money may not be enough to persuade him. He hasn't laid out any conditions yet, so we need to be patient."

Elder Chu replied, "We need to act quickly. I don't have the luxury to wait." It wasn't that Mr. Chu didn't want to be patient; he simply didn't have the opportunity to do so.

Dean Yang sent a message to "Mr. Huo" at Mr. Chu's request. However, even after a long wait, Mr. Huo did not respond. This man has such a peculiar temper; waiting for his reply is akin to a concubine in the harem awaiting the emperor's favor—one can only rely on chance and fate.

In the classroom of Class 3-5, Chu Ci was lying on the table, trying to sleep. Suddenly, her phone vibrated a few times, waking him up. She glanced at the message:

["Have you received what I sent you?"]

Chu Ci replied: "Received."

The sender followed up: ["I am coming to Tonghai City this Wednesday. Can we have a meal together?"]

Chu Ci responded: "I don't have time. I can't go."

[ "What are you busy with?"]

Chu Ci replied: "I'm in school."

The sender responded in disbelief:[ "Going to school? Are you serious?"]

Chu Ci confirmed: "Seriously.jpg."

["Ah Ci, are you deliberately avoiding seeing me?"]

Chu Ci reassured: "No, I'm really in school."

To prove that he was truly in school, Chu Ci took a photo of the classroom with her cell phone and sent it to the other party. After receiving the photo, the other party remained silent for a long time. Eventually, a message came through:

"[You should also make more friends at your age; that's what you should be doing now.]"

Chu Ci is more mature than kids her age, which makes her miss out on the happiness they usually have.

Chu Ci lay on his stomach, but after a while, she got another message:

["I'll come to your school to see you after my event. Which school do you go to?" ]

"Don't come; it's too much trouble," Chu Ci replied because she wanted to avoid complications.

["I'll come quietly and won't bother anyone. I just want to see you. It's been a long time since we last met."]
