The Other Side— or as Huey liked to call it, The Red World — was a place of only the most abominable horrors the mind could imagine.
It was a world of decay and desolation, where the broken red sky bled, and the air — if it could even be considered that — was stripped of life, full of radiation and raw primal destruction.
The ground was dry and cracked. The rivers or lakes, or bodies of water were made of materialised Radiation that burned hotter than lava.
A world lacking in vitality — yet somehow still managing to exist somewhere in the far reaches of The Unknown.
Do not get it wrong — it was a dead world by all meanings, definition, and right.
A world prowling with diabolical monsters and Abominations beyond human comprehension. They called them Elder Gods — mankind, at least did. But when Huey first arrived, he had no idea what to. There weren't enough words in his vocabulary to describe these creatures or the world they came from without sounding repetitive or redundant.
