I vaguely heard the sound of a countdown, like a clock it ticked down the numbers, I opened my eyes to look for the strange noise, the moment I did, a transparent screen was floating above me from where I slept.
It keep counting down numbers in a foreign language, and the sound of ticking became more clearer, I was still quite sleepy as it were in the middle of night, I noticed two different things except the countdown, there were a blue symbol and a red one with the strange language, I thought this was all a dream, and a bit annoyed I waved my hand towards those symbols and somehow kind of pressed the blue icon, then the screen made a sound and the ticking stopped, and slowly the transparent screen vanished. Like that I was baffled for few seconds, but it was not for long, as I just dozed to sleep again.
The next morning...
I woke up by the warmth feeling of sunlight shining on my pale face, as I opened my eyes, I could see that a bit of the curtain was off, in that way the sunlight could shine upon me. I was still sleepy, and with a bit of effort took myself up from the bed, as I was putting on some clothes, I noticed that it seems eerie quiet outside, no bird singing or traffic. I walked towards the curtain and removed them, what meets my eye were smoke and flames coming from the city, My house were on a cliffside that had full view of the city from where it was, and I saw flying silhouette above the city, those things were too far away to see what kind of creature they was.
I could also see people running and soldiers shooting at things all around the area, then I froze entirety the moment one of those flying creature just showed up Infront of the window, massive in size, and with blood dripping from its mouth, it glared at my and flew with incredible speed towards me, and smashed through the window and as it was about to bare it fangs at me, time flew in slow motion, without a second thought I clenched my fist and threw a punch towards the creature, and the moment it crashed into me with its teeth, and with a smile on my face I punched its face, and it tore me apart at the very next second
Then Everything just turned dark...
