Kenzo has realised in the past few days when he was experimenting with the devil fruit that has astonished him. The true abilities of his devil fruit were overpowered to say the least.
His devil fruit was not just a space ability fruit but a space-time ability devil fruit.
He couldn't help but remember the day when he was napping in the garden. But when he woke up the grass that he was sleeping on which was just maybe 2 inches had grown by 20 inches in a couple hours.
He realised that the space abilities were only one part of his fruit. The fruit also allows him to control Time.
Time abilities include making time go backwards and accelerating time. These are just the starting abilities. There is so much much more to time.
However, Right now Kenzo's ability can't even accelerate the growth of small vegetable seedling, let alone go back in time or see the future.
He deduced that the thing with the grass was just one off thing because it was his devil fruit awakening the time aspect of its abilities.
He had made strides with his space abilities though. Kenzo's spatial awareness can sense anything within five meters and he could move freely within this range i.e. he could teleport freely within 5 meters for now.
Also he no longer gets a headache when he uses spatial awareness.
Kenzo also found that he can also form a solid subspace made of space which can be used to imprison the enemy.
He could restrict someone like Kizaru within a certain area which would limit his movements.
He has named the ability space confinement.
He couldn't help but dream about the dumbstruck face of Kizaru when he sees this and says 'how scaryyy'
With his current abilities, he could barely imprison a little chick, so he has a lot to learn and develop his abilities.
--- 6 Months Timeskip ---
Half a year has passed quickly. Kenzo has grown taller. He has also developed a fair bit of muscles and has become much more mature.
His physical strength has increased quite a lot. He has also increased his daily training.
His efforts bore fruit as he managed to learn some more abilities of his fruit while at the same time increasing his physical attributes.
He has not developed any time abilities but he has developed two new space abilities. The abilities were called Spatial Blade and Switch.
Switch was just like Law's shambles. It's the ability to exchange the positions of any two things whether they are objects or living beings.
On the other hand, Spatial Blade is a blade formed by compressing the space around to form a blade. The more space he compresses the stronger and sharper the blade would be. He could use the spatial blade as a weapon but couldn't throw it as it would disappear.
Garp has also returned today. Kenzo was on his way to meet him.
"Uncle Garp, you are already back? Have you caught Roger? No that can't be, It looks like you came home empty-handed! Hahaha"
Kenzo said heartlessly.
Garp though didn't mind and he too laughed saying "That guy is indeed my age old enemy, very strong and tough to catch hahaha!"
Garp looked at Kenzo while eating a donut and thought 'It looks like the brat has trained a lot in my absence and has not slacked much. Good Good'
"Kid, I hope after I was gone you did not become lazy, try my iron fist of love."
Garp with a grin punched Kenzo on his head giving him no time to react.
"Ah, it hurts" Kenzo groaned as he rubbed his head in pain
'I could barely even see his movements even with the help of my spatial awareness.'
Kenzo felt the difference in strength at this moment. He thought that he had become stronger, and he was proud of herself but all this shattered right now.
He wanted to get stronger so he wanted to train much more than before. He looked at Garp and thought 'I can ask him to teach me Rokushiki but those are marine techniques so he would probably refuse. What should I ask him to teach me then?'
Kenzo could not help but think about one of the cool skills in One Piece which was Haki. He could learn observation Haki and Armament Haki.
But he felt observation haki would be useless for him. He could already see his surroundings with his spatial awareness and in the future he would also be able to see the future with his time abilities.
'Maybe my spatial awareness would be trained once I train and develop observation haki.' He thought
Armament Haki on the other hand would be very helpful for him. Not only would he be able to harm logia fruit users, his normal haki coated attacks would also be devastating to anyone else.
He didn't know whether he has conquerer's haki as he was pretty sure he doesn't have any qualities of a king. But he would be happy if he has it.
He resolved to ask Garp to teach him Haki. "Uncle Garp ,when will you teach me Haki?"
He asked in anticipation.
Garp was confused by his question but then he laughed "If you want to learn haki then you have to wait for your body to surpass the limits!"
Kenzo frowned and wondered 'where is my limit?'
"Can you learn Haki by pushing the limits of the body?" He asked
"Breaking the limit of your body is just the beginning to learn haki. You are still far behind." Garp sneered with arms folded
Kenzo did not like his answer and knew that Garp didn't want to teach him Haki yet "No matter what, I will learn Haki sooner or later. At that time, I will let you taste the iron fist of Kenzo's love."
Kenzo rubbed his fist secretly thinking about the future.
