There is still more than two years before the king of the pirates Roger is executed. Kenzo really wanted to see what kind of man he was to stand on the top of this world.
But before that he had to train and get stronger.
As he thought about this, Garp's ship arrived on marineford.
Marineford is a crescent moon-shaped island that is composed completely of bricks and steel. It had walls encircling the island with cannons on the edges.
At the back of the island, standing large, tall and proud is the Marine Headquarters building.
The building is a large multistory ancient Japanese-stylized palace, with the base bearing the kanji for "Marines".
The majority of the island is occupied by Marineford Town which is rather large, especially compared to most other towns and cities in the world. It is mostly home to the families of the Marines stationed at Marineford.
Kenzo was awed at the majesty of the headquarters of the marine.
Kenzo followed Garp as he saw the passing navy, he could tell about their ranks from their clothes.
Garp has assigned someone to inform Kenzo about the different ranks in the Marines.
There are 11 commissioned ranks and 7 non commissioned ranks.
Fleet Admiral is the highest Marine rank, and is the commander of the entire organization. The current fleet Admiral was Kong. Sengoku was currently an Admiral.
Admiral is the second highest rank in the Marines. There are only three Marines who hold this title at any given time, and they are crowned as the World Government's "Greatest Military Powers as each of them possess deadly combat abilities. The current Admirals was Sengoku and two others who were not in canon. Zephyr has lost his family and has become and has become an instructor.
Vice Admiral is the third highest rank in the Marines. The famous three future admirals i.e. Kuzan, Sakazuki and Borsalino were vice Admirals right now.
Rear Admiral is the fourth highest rank in the Marines.
Commodore is the fifth highest rank in the Marines.
Captain is the sixth highest rank in the Marines.
Commander is the seventh highest rank in the Marines.

Chore Boy is the nineteenth highest, or more specifically, the lowest rank, in the Marines.
Although Kenzo wanted to rise in ranks and become atleast an Admiral, he didn't want to become the dog of the world government and celestial dragons.
He had a lot to think in the past year about what he wanted to do in this world. There were four options to him that were becoming a pirate, a marine soldier, bounty hunter or a strong farmer farming in the countryside.
Since he wanted to learn Rokushiki and haki, Garp and marine were his best choice.
Besides, He had read one of the latest Manga chapters which told about SWORD.
SWORD is a Marine Headquarters Secret Special Force that consists of Marines who have formally resigned themselves from the actual command structure of the organization, but still operate on its behalf.
On paper, they have submitted their resignations and turned in their identification codes, but in reality they still retain their loyalty and can operate as part of the Marine forces.
Unlike ordinary Marines, members of SWORD are allowed the freedom to disregard any orders they choose and can move and act as they please without repercussion, meaning they can take on missions that are normally forbidden or would otherwise require clearance, such as starting a confrontation with one of the Four Emperors.
In return, the Marines and the World Government assume no responsibility for their actions and can disavow or cut off any remaining ties with SWORD members should it become a convenient option.
They also have no obligation to help or rescue SWORD personnel who get into trouble; but conversely, this also means that other members of SWORD can go out of their way to rescue their captured counterparts without clearance from the higher-ups.
In a way, SWORD acts as a black ops division within the generally law-abiding.
Because of the nature of their organization, SWORD members can take the mantle of pirates in order to further legitimize their actions, as is the case with X Drake. That said, SWORD members are permitted to station themselves in Marine bases or join official Marine squads during missions. It is also possible for members of SWORD to return to the Marines as full-fledged personnel, even if they have been assigned a bounty as criminals.
Kenzo thought that being part of this organisation would be the best option. But to be a part of it, he had to increase in ranks.
Becoming a pirate or a bounty hunter was still open if this option didn't work for him.
