In a large room of 25*30 feet the floating seats were arranged.It was a class of normal ranked students-6th year section-B.For the students it was their 1st practical year.All the students were around 17 years in age. In the bright room which was lit from every side the students seated on their position payed attention to theie own translucent screen which the information about their first mission was being displayed.In front of the room a android was giving them instruction about the upcoming mission.The android was in human symmetry,it was of course made up of metal,had a white coloured appearance with some part black like its geometrical shaped eyes.It wad named GT-27.There were a total 44 no of students present out of 50 students admitted at the beginning. For their identity the had numbers given to them,code names choosen by them selves for mission and real names if fortunate given by their parents or they had given given themselves.
The humans were made in the laboratory,till 12 years they kept inside the test tube, their mind in dream and being fed with some necessary nformation.Most of the unsuccessful products were disposed or used as an energy source.After waking from the dream they had to awaken their spirit which was being nourished in the dream.The ones who awakened their spirits were judged worth the resources and the ones without spirits were disposed. Ofcourse this process was done separately without any humans knowledge.At the age of 12 they were handed over to an academy for their growth.For the first three years everyone study the same theories. After that they are given the choice for their life war or knowledge. For the next 2 years they prepare themselves with the help of simulation.And finally after that for the next 3 years they participate in real battles.In which stage the current 6-B students are now in.
The spirits are of two types mainly. The awakened or the contracted. The awakened spirits are uniqe to the user. Every awakened spirit is a never seen before spirit. It source of is soul strength. The person with higher soul strength can summon out its spirit for a longer period of time than a person with low soul strength.The contracted spirits are the empty souls roaming in the soul plane without any awareness. To contract a spirit one must conquer the soul with their willpower. So most common contracted spirits are small animals or birds with low consciousness which are easy to tame. The contracted spirits are seen seen as sign of weakness by most humans until it possess its own sentience. The spirits first appeared with the appearance of the SYSTEM.
In this era of darkness the only reliability of humans is the SYSEM.It appeared around a century ago. The gives a chance to every living being to become stronger and to evolve.The SYSTEM helps in awakening a spirit,gives the user abilities,elements and many other things necessary for survival as reward for completing its mission.
The android with its electronic voice announced "As per rules, simulation ranking from previous year and their SYSTEM everyone shall receive suitable missions and rewards. The mission location is Salandi forest and the time limit is of 1 month. The region is of abour 10 sq.km. It is a hilly region with Salandi river flowing in its heart. It is a relatively safe region for the starters. It has mostly rank 1&2 corrupted organisms with rank-3 corrupted organisms of very rare sight. Most common rank-1 corruptions are zombie chicken, zombie crow,zombie beetle, zombie cow, zombie dog,zombie jackale, zombie cat, black monkey, no brain zombie human, cleaner bots etc. Most common rank-2 corruptions are black leg chicken, grey feather crow, iron beetle, white horned cow, fanged dog, mud jackle, fast cat, red eyed monkey, zombie human, house hold bots etc.
After you accept the personal mission, you may leave the room. Forming a group of 4-5 is mandatory. After two days you will be sent to the mission site before then you may choose to prepare or rest."
No-1 / Adalet asked "Is there any sefety measure or protection we will recieve ?
GT-27 replied "No, your life is in your hand, death means your own inability to survive." Well everyone was already expecting it so, no one was surprised about it.
NO-11/ Remilin "What about equipments or weapon we are getting ? "
GT-27 said, "It shall be provided shortly." Although most of the fights were fought with spirits, some students still kept weapons which was suited their spirits.
No-40 / Code name - Happy asked the question which everyone had doubts about, "How are we going to the site ?" because they were 5km above the ground in a flying ship. "You will be sent there in a very convenient way without much waste of energy." GT-27 continued " There was a large dam on that river few decades ago, although is has broken down now it still holds much water which can help a human survive a fall of 2.5km." .... "So, you are just throwing us down from the sky" 'Yes.' "What if you get someone thrown into the forest?" "The have to depend on their own abilities to survive." "Nice, very nice, well done. Thank you for this opportunity and if that is enough we are going to our rooms."
Most of the students had complains about getting kicked down from the sky but they knew, once the order came it was never going to change. So, gain in complaining rather they should prepare themselves for the fall.
The place they were living was an aircraft but you may describe it as floating island. It was around 5sq.km, a green environment was created there artificially. It was irregularly shaped. The energy was directly absorbed from the environment which helped in keeping it in air. It was capable of movement.
