Nobody ever believed that the Medusa who had gone into the dragon cave the other year would will be killed this year by a human.
The palace was perfectly peaceful as always but Medusa already sensed danger , she ignored it thinking who could come against a very powerful woman who was intoxicated by the power from the sword.
Her two granddaughters walked , " I sense danger " Lilith said as she walked closer.
" there's nothing like danger , there is no treat especially when I have that sword" Medusa spoke confidently, playing with the sharp blades of the sword .
" I am not sure we are safe now that the sword is with you , people have their eyes on the sword and not you anymore " Lucina said thoughtfully.
" remember what was said. the sword empowers it owner ..."
" and also it endangers and controls it owner " Lilith cut in not waiting for Medusa to say what she had to say .
" oh Lilith you always have something to say that ...."
'' but all i say is the truth you and I know that " she cut in again.

" commander Andras it's nice seeing you again ,how has the plan be going '' a man in his sixty's with a brown short hair and wrinkled forehead greeted a tall young man.
" we will be attacking this night " the young man named Andras said with an unsmiling and unfriendly look as if disgusted by the man who stood before him .
" that's so fast " .
" get your men ready it's this night and do not forget that I get the sword and throne when she's killed" he turned to leave .
" oh I forgot to ask how's your wife " he tried making a conversation .
" she's is already prepared so get your's prepared" with the words he disappeared leaving the old who frowned at the way he commanded .
" good luck in getting the throne if you would be able to get it " he muttered angrily under his breath before leaving .
Back at the palace, the darkness slowly fell over the kingdom and it was quiet cause of most people had gone to bed due to the every day stress then the enemies attacked.
The scream of fire was loud as the snakes ran out of their houses not knowing that it was better to die in that raging flame than to die by the sword of a mere human like they called them .
" I hope your swords are well poisoned" Andras asked the soldiers with him .
" it is " they all answered.
" now attack the palace if Medusa is found or any of her daughters bring her to me if you aren't able to bring them kill them yourselves" he said in aloud voice overpowering the scream of the snakes who were burning in the fire .
in Lilith chamber
" Lilith quickly pack your things and teleport them to that cave at the sea , be fast so we can be able to join mama " Lucina commanded.
" if the witch part or snake is surfacing that when I can do that " she said but quickly packed her things into a sack provided to her by Lucina .
" ok I will teleport it go search for mama quickly" .
Medusa ran down the stairs of the palace to search for her granddaughters, " Lucina!!!! , Lilith!!!!! " she screamed their names but none responded, stepping into the garden she felt someone stabbed her from behind .
Placing her hand on her stomach she turned to stare at that person who already shivered at the sight of her eyes and hairs .
Before the person could run she brought his head down with her sword , she hurriedly went outside in search of Lilith and Lucina but couldn't find any of them .
she suddenly fell to her knees because of the circulated poison , " mama " Lilith shook her .
" Lilith " her eyes were closing just then lucina appeared .
" mama , what happened to her ? " Lucina asked with tears already streaming down her cheeks .
" she was stabbed with a poisonous sword and it already destroying her from the inside "
" what should we do " lucina asked silently , " let's take her to the cave " she suggested.
" no " Medusa answered " no am already dead you can do nothing about it "
" but you can still talk "
" I myself know that I am dead and there's nothing anyone can do about it " tears clouded her vision.

" I said nothing " she coughed out black blood " the sword Lilith , it's to be given to your daughter ,your first daughter " .
" mama , you aren't dying now ,you always wanted to see our mother your daughter again " Lilith cleaned the tears already falling.
" I will come back to see her and I will also come back to be with you two ,it's a promise I won't break " her eyes slowly closed as she received darkness .
