Lilith jumped down from a tree when she heard voices and went straight to climbing a mountain so she could see what was happening.
A carriage hidden from the eyes of humans was parked at the palace and a beautiful lady whose black hair flowed gracefully with the wind came down with a man behind her.
The lady's eyes scanned everywhere as if looking for something, when she turned Lilith gasped , " mother " she whispered.
She had only saw her mother through paintings of her on the walls of the palace but now she could see her in flesh .
" mother" Marisa whispered and Medusa eyes flew open .
" is it you Marisa ? " she asked .
" it's me mother " she placed her hand on Medusa's face , " it's me " .
" can ... can.... you hold my hands " she tried raising her head .
" don't stress yourself " , " open the door" she commanded and a servant opened the door , with the help of her husband she carried Medusa into the carriage .
" are you going to burry me ? " she asked in a whisper.
" no , we will look for a physician to treat you. there's hope that you can survive this " Marisa held her hand firmly .
" no ..... no physician can treat me now . isn't it time that I join father wherever he is just for awhile before I come back here , isn't it time . Mother , father and the rest of our ancestors awaits me " she coughed out blood." yes they have made way for me to come be with them , I hope I rest in peace now , all I need is rest cause I have been through a lot here on earth . so all I wish now is to join them wherever they are and come back another time " she coughed again.

" no but ,I have given up on this fight, he who runs lives to fight another day. the throne is mine the heavens bear witness and the throne will forever be mine , bury me next to mother in that cave then go look for your daughters "
tears ran down her cheeks watching her daughter weep also made her weep.
" I think this are your last wishes and I swear to fulfill them no matter what even if it cost my life " .

" I will " she watch Medusa close her eyes slowly till she could breath no more .

" Lilith" a voice behind her made her turn back .
" Lucas . what are you doing here " she sounded surprise.
" came back for you " he smiled .
" did you hear what happened ? " she followed him down .
" no , I felt pain in my chest so I came in search of you only to find out that Medusa was dead " he stopped and turned to face her ." it's painful ,I know I don't need to ask you" he watch her nod her head in agreement.
" I missed you " he waited for her reply.
" me too , what about your father ? "
Lucas father was the only different elder and most respected. he couldn't bear the acts of other elders so he left for another kingdom and ever since he left he had only came twice to visit Medusa .
He came cause his son was interested in one of Medusa's granddaughter but the woman didn't agree to give any of her granddaughters out saying they were the only jewels she had since her daughter Marisa left .
" doing well as always . I will come visit tomorrow so if you need me all you have to do is say my name quietly and I'll be there " he vanished and she sighed .
Going back to the tree she climbed earlier she climbed it again, this time she was focused remembering the antelope she had missed earlier because of the voiced she heard.
letting go off the arrow she didn't miss the shot and the antelope fell the she fired the second time .
" that's a big catch " Lucina said .
" how is your leg ? "
" it supernaturally healed " she said excitedly and spined.
" that's good news ,I saw mother " .
" where ,how ,when , is she here for us ? ''
" maybe but left with the corpse of grandma " she brought down the pot containing the herbs she boiled for Lucina injury.
"oh , I wish I saw her myself " Lucina felt sad.
