Medusa soon started working in the palace as a maid with Corvina who insisted on joining her even when she told her not to .
she was able to get the crown prince attention when she and Corvina were assigned to be his maid .
After spending three years in the palace, she became very close to Queen Olivia and soon queen Olivia wanted her to be her son's wife getting their trust wasn't easy.
When she got married to the crown prince, she finally executed her plan which was killing the king and queen Olivia and it worked out well then the prince was crowned .
A few years after the prince was crowned king he fell ill and died and Medusa took over the throne but the dragons weren't happy with this.
They all gathered at the meeting hall , " Did you know that women aren't allowed to rule especially snakes " One of the dragon elders asked Medusa.
'' but it was the last order the king gave before and you know his last orders are to be respected " Corvina defended Medusa who had been quiet.
" but she doesn't worth the throne, the crown,the seal , the kingdom and it people" the elder who spoke first said .
" what do I do to prove I worth all this you've mentioned ? " she asked with a calm but serious look .
" wage war against other kingdoms" another elder blurted out and everyone turned to stare at him while Medusa gave an ear piercing laughter .
" I don't want to get my people killed for selfish reasons another way "
" then you will into the dragon cave not only that and you must also successfully bring out the sword " Corvina was trying her best not to let her anger out .
" if I do that you will all bow and the throne is will be ours only my generation shall rule "
" it will be stamped" a elder assured .
" and if I don't come out ... ''
" then you will loose the throne " an elder cut in she turned to him with a smile that made him shiver .
" if I would even survive it , you know how dangerous the cave has become. remember a Nobel member of us went in there, a dragon, a pure blood went in but never came back " the smile turned to sorrowful look then a smile again.
She stood up and gestured for a guard to come , she whispered something into his ear then the guard left . she turned back to the elders with her chilly smile , " what are we waiting for" they all stared at themselves confused .
" why don't I prove I worth it now " she walked out and they followed her behind .
she hurriedly changed into a simple dress made of silk and placed the crown on the throne. she handed the seal to one of the elders placed the golden scepter beside the crown.
Her braided her fell down to her waist. when they got outside,they were all surprised to see almost the whole kingdom gathered .
The elders muttered words , words she knew meant goodbye.
Her eyes searched for her granddaughters, Lucina and Lilith stared back at her. Corvina was aboutto stop her but she quickly walked in.
The snakes said there were demons in here but it was only darkness ,the first thing that caught her eyes was the skeleton of somebody lying on the grave ,her mother's grave .
Medusa walked closer with tears , " father " she knelt down, " father , it's been long " she touched the bones .
The snakes outside were already worried ,most of the loves their queen and the way she ruled. Some were already giving up believing that wasn't going to come out ,some still had hopes .
She turned back to the sword stuck in the rock , walking closer she grabbed and pulled out the sword.
The cloud rumbled as it became dark ,thunder striked with force , now everybody believed she was dead .
immediately she pulled the sword out the ribbon used to tie her hair fell ,the braids loosened and her hair turned into serpents and her eyes all turned pure white as she walked , aloud scream was heated as the people watched her come out .
The shout of joy continued as she walked out dragging the sword behind her causing spark, she faced the elders with her always chilly smile before raising the sword to victory.
The thunder became louder , those who weren't happy about this were mostly dragons and humans .
" victory is ours " she screamed .
