The Vampire from Kurentika

The thunder was zapping through the sky as the rain fell. I was taking my calm afternoon walk around the town and I was not soaking wet and it was not just because I was using my powers so I wouldn't get wet. I had an umbrella without a raincoat, nor boots, nothing else at all, just an umbrella and it yes it was over my head because I loved the rain as much as I loved my town, even though my umbrella was over me, I could still feel the rain. I knew everybody in my lovely town and everybody in my lovely town knew me. I was by the town square walking as usual when I spotted this suspicious looking...Vampire!? Cling! His fangs appeared from out of his mouth. I was indeed surprised to see a vampire I'd never seen before in my town (there wasn't many in my town) and that vampire looked very mischievous to me. I began to go towards that vampire but he suddenly disappeared right in front of my devilish face with a woosh! and of course I, the young half devil was surprised, not just because he disappeared but also because the sun was shining high up in the sky though it was raining "since when did vampires go out in the bright sun?" I thought. I didn't feel like looking for the vampire that day because I was laz- I mean I was not feeling like murdering my brain by looking for someone, brainstorm ideas or searching for a literal vampire so I brilliantly decided to go elsewhere where I could relax till the next day.
