Patricia frowned but she quickly pretended like she didn't see what just happened and she went to hug her husband and kissed him on the lips
"my love I missed you very much," she said and Mike only nodded, Grace could not help but feel disgusted because she knew that it was all a charade and nothing more
"common sense demands that you knock before entering someone's room," Grace said
"but this is a hospital, not your father's mansion where you can throw me out" she clapped back at her
"and this is my ward that my father's money paid for now get out before I call security," she said
"What!! You can't do that, I'm the wife of this hospital's director" she said
"well you just watch me" she said and picked up the telephone close to her
"There will be no need for that, Grace. She will just leave now; you both don't always have to create a scene,", he said and dragged Patricia to his office.
Grace felt like beating herself up with what just happened; she didn't expect her to just come in like that; now, what would she think of her? She quickly discarded the thought and lay to rest; she still felt a little bit weak.
Williams, the kids and Kyle arrive at the hospital and go straight to see Grace
"hey Dad," Grace said as she saw her father
"and how is my pumpkin doing today?" he asked her
"Dad stop calling me that" she scolded him
"All alright fine" Williams said as he kissed her on the head
"Aunt Grace" Chris called her name from where they were standing
"oh my little angels," Grace said as she stretched her hand, they both ran into her arms and hugged her, Grace felt so much better, this was exactly what she needed right now, all the innocent love that she could get from these two
"did you guys miss me?" she asked them and Jane nodded, since she couldn't talk she took out her iPad to write something on it
"of course Aunt, I missed you so much" Chris said and kissed her on the cheek
"I missed you too Aunty" Jane typed and kissed as well just as Chris did
"and you both are just so sweet," she said and hugged them tightly
"And you, are you just going to stand there? You will not come to hug your elder sister?" Grace teased him
"I came here just for that," Kyle said and gave her a big hug
"I missed you, Kyle," she said
"I missed you too, where's Chris?" Kyle asked him
"he's in the other ward with Jane" she replied to him
"oh okay, I will go quickly check on him and come back, dad do you want to come with me?" Kyle asked, Williams thought about it for a while
"uhmm no, I will just stay here with your sister, I don't want to leave her all alone here," he said
"All alright Dad I will be back soon and I'm taking the kids along" he said and ran along
"Not a problem?" Grace said.
Mrs Whitney just returned from the house to go prepare breakfast she is already tired of all these hospital bills, they are not good enough for her, Chris didn't want to allow her to go but she insisted, he then asked that a driver take her there, now she's back and she's dishing everyone's food.
She was in a sober mood this morning, so she decided to make a dish that she had not made in a very long while; she remembered Williams today, so she decided to make his favourite; she just hoped that Maria would make this dish for him.
Kyle made his way into the ward and found his brother on the couch about to start eating
"And what are you doing bro?" he asked him in a sarcastic voice
"hey you, when did you get here?" he stood up to go hug his little brother
"not quite long, dad is with Grace while Mom had to go back home, she said that she forgot something" he explained
"oh I see" he replied him
"you are all grown up" Chris teased him
"hey come on you all, Mom said the same thing, I will be turning 22 in a few months from now, so what were you expecting?" he defended
"hey kids where are you guys?" Kyle said and they showed up with their little legs carrying them.
"Dad, grandma" Chris shouted as he saw them both, he didn't even know who to greet first, so he decided to go meet his dad first, little Jane followed him as usual
"hey Dad, I've not seen you in days," he said as he jumped on his father with Jane doing the same, Chris held them both in his arms as they sat on his laps
"Well you see I have to stay here and take care of your mom" he said to him
"oh Chris said and hopped down from his lap and headed to where Whitney is
"Grandma", he called out to her, and she stopped him in her hand and gave him a lot of kisses.
Afterwards, both Jane and Chris were to stand close to Jane who was still looking all so pale and sick
"don't you have anything to say to your mom?" Kyle said as they all waited for what will be Jane's reaction to the kids presence
"I just want her to wake you and come back home," he said
"then tell it to her; tell her you want her to wake up and come back home", Kyle said.
Chris held his mother's hand, trying not to cry, he wanted to be strong for the sake of Jane, but he could not help it, as he opened his mouth to talk, tears filled his eyes
"Mom please wake up and come back home, I miss you so much" Chris said
"Jane say something to Mom" Chris urged her
