Jane didn't know what to say cause she knew that whatever it was that she types will be of no use because the person that it was meant for was lying there on the bed, she felt as though this person was her mother, she didn't felt this kind of attachment and bond with Angel, but strangely she does with Jane that she just got to know a few months ago.
Little Jane could not help but allow the tears to fall. She wanted to say something, but it was not coming forth; she closed her eyes as if she were meditating on something or trying to remember something.
"Mummy please wake up," she said without even thinking and everyone present could not believe their ears, little Jane just said something
"Mummy wake up" she repeated as the tears in her eyes just began to fall, and with what looked like magic, one of Jane's fingers moved, Chris quickly rushed to her side
"hey Jane, my love, can you hear me?" he said repeatedly.
"I think we should get the doctor, Mr Chris," Jack said
"All alright fine get Mike to come here right here, I don't care what he is doing just tell him to come here right now," Chris said and Jack left
"uhhmm I will just take the kids for a walk they are getting too emotional and it's not good for them," Kyle said
"hmm, I agree; I will just stay here with Chris,", Mrs Whitney said, and Kyle left with the kids.
Jack got to the ward where Grace was, he had been to Mike's office but he wasn't there, and he knew that the next place that he would be was with Grace, he opened the door to the ward and made his way inside
"uh hmm doctor, good afternoon your attention is needed in the other ward, Jane moved a finger" he broke the news
"What!! are you serious?" Grace was the one who spoke, she quickly stood up from the bed and was going to leave the ward
"and what do you think you are doing?" Mike stopped her
"I want to go see Jane of course" she said
"in your present condition? Remember that you are on bed rest Grace you can't be moving around, you can go see her later on" Mike said
"but" she wanted to insist but Williams cut in
"but nothing darling, you should stay right here" he chipped in and she had no choice but to let it be
"hmm doctor you might want to do all of these later, if you don't get here right now, I'm sure Chris is ready to tear this whole hospital upside down" Jack said and Mike almost burst into laughter, he never expected that the might heir of the Smith's family can get so lovestruck, he was not even like this with Angel.
He quickly made his way to the ward where Jane was and in all honesty, Jack was not exaggerating when he said that he was going to tear the whole hospital down, Chris was d at the moment
"what took so long Mike?" he asked him
"well you see Chris, I only have legs and not wings," he said and stepped forward with some of the nurses he brought alongside
"Please, I need you to step aside so I can at least do my job,", he said to Chris, who seemed reluctant to leave Jane's side.
Chris knew that he was right, so he stood up but made sure that he stayed close to her and kept an eye on everything that was being carried out by Mike
Mike did some simple examinations on her and communicated with the nurse; after he was done, he turned to face everyone.
"She's not awake yet, but she's trying to force it, she's fighting for her life, let's just hope that she makes it on time, and something must have triggered that reaction from her" Mike explained
"Yeah the kids were here, and Jane spoke for the first time" Chris said
"wow that's a good one, you should bring the kids around more often, it will help her a great deal," he said
"I will be back to check on her later on; I will be off now", he said and vanished.
Chris felt a little bit happy; she responded that's a good thing; at least he's rest assured that she would wake up very soon.
Maria got to Jones house and she could see the bastard staring at her from the balcony, she could not help but be baffled at how he got to know that her three children were not hers, she made sure to kill everyone that knew about it, the only person that she could not kill was Whitney herself and that is because she fled the county and even stole some of her money, she should have known that she is trouble the moment she saw her at the hospital the other day, she must have been the one to tell him she made her way to the house and the door was opened to her by Angel.
"oh you are here Mother," she said
"don't you ever call me that," she said to her firmly Angel almost fell to the ground, she wasn't expecting to receive such harsh treatment, but her dad already promised that everything would be fine, she had no idea what it is that he has a mind but it does seem to be working because Maria is here, she never thought that to be a possibility.
Maria stood still there waiting for Jonas to show his face, and he did
"Well, well, just look at who we have here, the first lady of the Smith family; it's been such a while since we saw each other, right? Who would have thought that an ordinary maid could climb her way to the top the way you did? You are ambitious, we and I like that about y; at least we have something in common," he said and laughed out loud.
