Maria and Williams got to the airport and waited a little bit for Kyle to show up and he eventually did
"Dad" he shouted the moment he saw his father, they all love their father more than their mom even Chris who doesn't show he loves his father more
Kyle hugged his parents
"you've grown all big already" Maria said
"come on Mom, you still saw me a few months back, stop exaggerating so much" he said
"but she's right; you've grown so big, and I'm super proud of you,", Williams said as he hugged his last son. His children are what he lives for.
"Is that little Chris?" Kyle asked in excitement he had missed the little boy so much
"Uncle Kyle" Chris shouted from the car and Kyle rushed inside the car to carry him
"hey champ how are you doing?" he asked him
"I'm good, Uncle Kyle this is Jane she's my little sister, Jane say hello to Uncle Kyle," he said and Jane typed 'Hello Uncle Kyle, nice to meet you ' on her pad
"oh thank you, nice to meet you too, these kids are so adorable, dad is this angel's kid?" he asked cause while he was away a lot happened but Grace made sure to keep him updated
"yes" he answered
"oh I see," he said
"Grandpa, are we still going to go and see mummy, Daddy and Aunt Grace?" Chris asked; he missed his mom so much; grandpa had said that they were going to see mummy and that she was a little bit sick.
"of course boy, we are going there right away, You will be seeing them all very soon," he said
"Dad what is Grace doing at the hospital besides she volunteered to come to pick me up while you guys drop grandma, that girl is such a snitch" he complained
"your sister was hospitalized yesterday she fell and passed out, that's why we are going to the hospital to go see my daughter," he said
"wow that's serious but why?" he asked
"well that's the bad luck that his mother has brought upon my family, now everyone is sick," Maria said
"Mom? Stop," he said and covered little Chris's ear, he should not be hearing such disgusting words against his mother
"you can go to the hospital now," he said and the driver drove out, they had not gone far when Maria's phone rang, it was an unknown number, she didn't want to pick it up at first but the number kept calling so she decided to call and a familiar voice came on
"Meet me in my house now unless you want everyone to know how you snatched three of someone else's children and claimed them to be yours", Jonas said and hung up the call.
Maria froze instantly, she didn't know whether to move or not, she wondered who the person was but whoever he might be she needed to see him right away
"hmm stop the car, I need to get home and pick something up," she said
"why what do you need to do or pick" Williams asked her
"I need to pick extra clothes for Grace and also I need to cook something for her to eat, I want to prepare it myself," she said shaking
"uh hmm stop the car" she said and the driver stopped
"at least let's take you home; you didn't bring an extra car, did you?" Kyle said
"no my love, that's not necessary home is not so far away after all, I will just hire a cab and bring a car from home, it's that simple you don't have to worry so much" she said and quickly hoped out of the car, she waited till the car was out of sight before she moved.
As soon as they were gone, she took her phone and called the number that called her earlier
"hello who the hell are you?" she asked
"It's me, Jonas, meet me at my residence now," he said and hung up
What the heck is going on here? She thought, how in the world did he know that she is not the mother of the children, she's so sure that all he wants is money and she will give it to him, that bastard, she quickly hailed a cab and went straight to his house, she had been there before so she remembers.
Grace was already feeling better after she woke up this morning, Chris had been here this morning and he said that her mom and dad, Kyle and the kids were on their way to the hospital to see her, oh Kyle she had promised to pick him up today she didn't think that she would fall sick and be hospitalized like this
The room in the ward was pretty awkward, Mike was sitting across her the place where Chris had punched him yesterday was still visible, that was the first thing that she noticed when she woke and he told her how he bruised his face, she had apologised on his behalf, her brother has been going through a lot and any little thing triggers him.
The last thing she remembers yesterday was Mike telling her that he loved her after he had kissed her and she didn't know how to react to it, does that mean that he didn't read the letter and he was not the one that replied to the letter? Gosh, she was going crazy. She would have to check the letter well when she got home.
"Hey you okay?" you've been silent since you woke up, do you need me to get you something else, are you hungry?" he asked her holding her hand while caressing it
"I'm fine Mike I just need time to process a lot of things" she said and blushed
"hey, my love", Patricia came in on them, and they quickly detached from each other; Mike dropped her hand and stood up and didn't know what to do.
