Chapter 24 - Chapter 23: Planning

**Inside the castle**

The interior of the castle was completely different from the exterior. The exterior of the castle gave you a medieval feel, but the interior gave off a mix of modern and European styles.

Next to the huge throne room, a more moderate room held ten people.

The was a long table in the middle paired with 20 seats. 10 on each side. At the top of the table was a vacant seat, with a bright light shining on it making it impossible to see the chair or anyone on it. The light was caused by the sunlight shining through the large window. In each corner of the room, large armours clasped swords and torches, making the room brighter.

A huge chandelier hung in the middle of the room. The room gave off a slightly intimidating and sombre feel.

As the 10 people discussed, the large doors opened revealing Kirin's figure. The seated people stood up as a form of greeting.

Raising his right arm, he made his way towards the right side of the table and sat down on the closest chair to the head chair. Looking at his now-seated comrades Kirin announced, "Her Majesty Akeldama Suri Enara has been found,"

The once quiet room erupted with loud whispers. Watching them whisper for a while, Kirin raised his right hand. The room returned to its initial silence.

"General Marsol Solara, what do you think?" Kirin asked a man facing him. The man had bronze-coloured skin with long flowing red hair. The man's amber-coloured eyes narrowed as he thought. His figure was as fit as Kirin's.

Unlike Kirin's ever-unchanging stolid expression, Marsol's face always held a languid smile.

Smiling he questioned instead with the same languid smile on his face. "If you called for a meeting that means Her Majesty caused a problem. Right?"

Looking straight into Marsol's eyes, Kirin stated, "The fire demons are becoming smarter it seems,"

Marsol's smiling expression faulted for a quick second before quickly changing back to its languid smile.

Looking at the man on his right Kirin asked, "Is there any news from Blood General Valcan?"

"Yes, General Valcan said the negotiation with the enemy countries is coming to a close. We should expect the General in three days." A man with striking purple eyes responded. He had a pale complexion, making his shoulder-length ash-coloured hair stand out.

"Thank you, General Calida. General Auclair says Her Majesty wants to stay in the lower plane to continue observing the changes."

"What changes?" Marsol asked.

Explaining everything, the room became stifling. Clearing his throat Kirin continued, "So her Majesty and General Auclair will be unavailable for a while."

The sombre atmosphere became denser as they thought of what they had just learnt.

Suddenly a man with short golden-coloured hair questioned, "How can we be sure her Majesty's descent caused the catalyst to prematurely begin?"

Frowning said General Calida supported, "General Ravi is right, we can't jump to conclusions."

"Then we shall just wait and watch." Kirin declared as he dismissed the meeting. They all got up and saluted to the main chair before leaving. Glancing at the main chair, Marsol closed the door.
