"My little representative has finished speaking, so I'm finished too." Polly knew she was no match for Victor Parker and had no intention of negotiating.
"Alright, I will now announce the result." Victor watched as the person cautiously retreated, then quickly stepped forward, grabbing Polly's wrist and pulling her down onto the sofa. Polly let out a low cry, and her head landed on his hand.
Victor hovered above her, looking at the woman beneath him, her eyes wide with tension. Her eyes were actually bigger than he usually saw.
"The divorce agreement is invalid."
"Based on what?"
"Based on the fact that my son is almost three." Victor held her wrist, pinning her on the sofa. Indeed, watching her get upset really improved his mood.
"You even have a daughter..."
Polly's phone rang abruptly, interrupting her words. Victor frowned, not quite understanding what she was about to say, but when he saw the caller ID, he still stood up to pick up the phone and pressed the answer button.
