Victor Parker put them all in a box on the side. Inside was a dismantled toy gun, and Victor looked at the perfectly disassembled parts—not the usual destructive way kids dismantle things. There were also some random toy parts, clearly not the work of just one person.
His young son was extraordinarily precocious, beyond what was normal.
After tidying up the toys, Victor Parker walked to the bathroom door and watched the mother and child playing with water inside, and his other son, who despite being exasperatingly precocious, was also spoiled. Even as a child, he hadn't been this precocious.
