Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: The Winds Have Changed—Let's Divorce Immediately

The security guard broke out in a sweat and was about to carry little Tommy away, but was stopped by Victor's raised hand.

Little Tommy pursed his lips, holding back tears, and struggled to get up. He patted his little bottom with his small hand, then looked at Victor with a milky voice and said, "I've seen you before, you're that very rich big boss."

Andrew also wanted to step forward, but seeing Victor maintained eye contact with the little boy, he didn't do anything.

"Where have you seen me?"

"There's a big sign at the entrance of Daisy Joy Kindergarten with you on it, Grandma says you have money." Little Tommy remembered clearly, after all, he remembered the money, not Victor.

Andrew: "..."

Indeed, children speak without reservation.

Victor bent down to look at him at eye level, "What's your name, and why are you here?"

Little Tommy scratched his little head with his hand, his brother sent him here, he had no idea why he was here.

Oh, right…

Little Tommy suddenly covered his small belly with his hand, "Uncle, I'm hungry, do you have anything to eat?"

Victor picked him up with one hand and went straight into the company, "Andrew, prepare some food for a child."

As he was being carried, Little Tommy made an OK gesture to his brother who was hiding on the side, his brother had told him to check if there were any photos of Mommy in the rich uncle's office.

If he completed the task, his brother would give him two pieces of candy.

Victor took him to his office, attracting countless gazes along the way.

And as he was being carried, Little Tommy wasn't shy at all, he even dared to wave his little hand and greet people.

Once they entered the office, Andrew brought over some pastries, and Little Tommy exclaimed and immediately hugged the small cake and started eating.

Victor told Andrew to handle Mr. Parker's matters first, and he sat across from Little Tommy, watching him eat like a little mouse. This way of eating was identical to a certain woman's.

Victor took a picture and sent it out.

[Michael Knight: What's up? Why are you sending childhood photos? Afraid I'll forget what you looked like as a child?

Victor: It's not me.

Michael Knight: ...

Michael Knight: !!!]

So, it wasn't his imagination, this child looked exactly like he did as a child, without the slightest difference.

Andrew couldn't tell because he hadn't seen him as a child, but he grew up with Michael, and Michael wouldn't be mistaken.

[Michael Knight: You actually have an illegitimate child?

Victor: A legitimate child.]

All these years, he had been with only one person.

[Michael Knight: !!!

Michael Knight: Aren't you getting a divorce? I'm still waiting for it.

Victor: Dream on, a bit faster than wishful thinking.]

Little Tommy took small bites of the cake, carefully observing Victor as he ate, a resemblance strikingly similar to Polly Sutton.

Victor was also watching him, as if a miniature version resembling him, but the gestures and behavior mirrored Polly, so was her eagerness for a divorce and adding a clause of having nothing to do with him all because of him?

Victor had never thought about becoming a father, as he considered it an impossibility.

Yet the soft and adorable little guy before him felt like a heavy hammer gently tapping his heart.

His cold heart was suddenly infused with a gentle aura.

Little Tommy finished eating, carefully packed up the rest to bring to his brother.

Then he jumped off the sofa, pacing around Victor's office with his little arms behind his back, his curious actions seemed to be a complete replica of someone from yesterday.

Victor leaned against the sofa, his gaze following him. There was still a milky scent on him, which he usually disliked, yet now found incomparably sweet.

His child, sharing his blood, would follow behind him, naively calling him Daddy.

Andrew brought in two documents, one containing Mr. Parker's criminal evidence, the other was the divorce agreement Victor requested last night.

After going through them, Victor handed the document regarding Mr. Parker to Andrew, "Go ahead and file a lawsuit."

Andrew nodded but didn't leave, as the other document wasn't addressed yet.

Unable to wait for a response, Andrew had to speak up, "Does this agreement need any changes?"

Victor glanced at the divorce agreement on the desk, but then Little Tommy, as if finding a new discovery, ran over and leaned on Victor's leg, reaching out to take the agreement, "What's this?"

Andrew instinctively wanted to pull Little Tommy away, knowing Victor seldom allowed anyone to touch him.

Yet Victor picked up Little Tommy onto his lap, took the document and casually tossed it into the trash can, "It's not important."

Andrew: "..."

Yesterday, you didn't say that.

After all, Andrew was Victor's special assistant, and if he couldn't see it now, he'd be a fool.

It seemed highly unlikely the divorce would happen.

"Where's your mommy?"

Little Tommy looked around but couldn't find any photo of Mommy, so this person certainly wasn't Daddy, leaving Tommy a bit disappointed, as the rich uncle just left like this.

Since his brother was still waiting downstairs, Little Tommy quickly jumped off Victor's lap, struggled to pick up the cake box, "Thanks, Uncle, for the little cakes, Tommy is full now, bye Uncle."

He took and ate it without feeling embarrassed at all.

Victor watched the little figure running out with a small backpack, "Polly Sutton, I've given you a chance."

Little Tommy was escorted downstairs by the secretary, said goodbye sweetly at the entrance, and hurried to where his brother was waiting.

"Here, this is delicious." Little Tommy grinned at his brother.

Little Benny furrowed his tiny brows taking the pastries his brother carried, "Did you see what I asked you to look for?"

Little Tommy wiped his mouth, "There wasn't a picture of Mommy, Benny, he's not Daddy, right?"

Little Benny was also puzzled, but his intuition shouldn't be wrong.

"Let's go back to school first, or Mommy will be worried." Little Benny took his brother's hand and led him back to school.

He definitely wouldn't mistake it, but it seemed this man didn't have a good relationship with Mommy.

Given this, little Benny looked at the sky that seemed to darken, and thought Mommy should really break up with him soon.

Polly Sutton, originally as a suspect, was supposed to go to the police station, but before she went, news broke that Liam Parker, the Senior Vice President of Parker Corporation, was arrested for embezzling company funds and leaking company secrets.

Also arrested was the boy who went to the model room with Polly before, he already confessed the drawing was made by him and put online.

The first high-level Victor took down after entering the Parker Corporation was his uncle, a true Parker family member.

Polly Sutton suddenly felt a chill down her spine; this man was truly ruthless.

Staying away was the best solution!

Divorce, divorce, must divorce immediately, can't wait another year, or she'll be in deep trouble.
