(Peter: POV)
Seated across from me Gwen simply stared, trying and failing to form words.
Which she had been doing for the past ten minutes.
Though I don't blame her.
Considering what I just revealed.
My father's video message, the existence of S.H.I.E.L.D., the fact Oscorp Industries, and perhaps by extension Norman Osborn, had something to do with my parents disappearance.
As well as how I got my powers in the first place.
It was a lot.
Hell if I was in her situation I would acting exactly like she is.
Honestly I'm m surprised she isn't losing her shit even further.
So thanks for the small miracles I suppose.
"Peter."
Gwen spoke.
When she did I focused all my attention on her.
"You've been caring this. All this knowledge, this weight, all by yourself." She spoke. Gwen then began crying slightly as she leaned over and engulfed me in a gentle hug.
One I reciprocated.
The two of us stayed this way for several minutes, before finally Gwen moved to break the hug.
When she did she firmly took my hands in her own. "Thank you sharing this with me. For trusting me. I promise I won't disregard it. And from now on know this, you won't ever be alone again."
"Gwen." I muttered.
Finding myself smiling without thinking.
Then before I could stop myself I pulled Gwen into my lap and began kissing her.
Gwen enjoying it as she leaned into our make out session.
The two of us getting hot and heavy.
Kissing sounds filled the air as the two of us continued smashing faces.
Until we finally broke apart.
A trail of saliva between our lips as we did.
"That was..." I muttered.
"Yeah." Gwen replied. "Want to go again?"
My answer was to lean back in and start round two of the kissing match.

(3rd Person: POV)
As Peter and Gwen gave into their teenage hormones, neither of them noticed as their actions slightly rocked the table behind them.
Leading to the lid on the box of the genetically engineered spiders to open slightly.
When it did one of them managed to crawl out.
Though after it did Gwen turned her attention to the box and realized the situation.
"Oh shoot!" Gwen said.
She then pulled away from Peter and reached over him to close it.
The spider that had escaped taking the chance to crawl up under Gwens' shirt sleeve before she could notice.
"What's the matter?" Peter asked.
Turning around to see what Gwen was doing.
The moment he did he understood her urgency.
"Good catch." He told her.
"Thanks." Gwen replied. Getting off Peter. "But that's probably enough for now."
"Yeah. You're right." Peter replied.
Gently lifitg Gwen fully off him.
He then took the box from her and began putting it back where it. Only for Peter to notice one of the spiders was missing.
"Shit!" He exclaimed.
Just as he did the spider under Gwen's shirt sleeve came to a stop.
Then it bit her.
"Ow!" Gwen yelped.
Slapping the exact stop where the spider has stopped on her arm.
Hearing this Peter instantly turned around. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing. Just got a jolt on my arm is all. Probably just my sleeve chaffing up against my arm." Gwen explained.
Having no idea how wrong she was.
"Anyway, I'm good. But what about you?" She asked.
In response Peter held up the box for Gwen to see. "One of the spiders somehow got loose." He quickly explained.
"You're right. That is bad." Gwen agreed. "Well then we better start looking."
Peter nodded. He then turned to Spinner terminal. "Spinner, please get some of the Spider-Bots to help us search as well."
"Of course, Peter." Spinner replied.
Once he did Peter made sure the box was secure before putting the remaining spiders away.
After he did he, Gwen, and Spinner, began searching for the third missing spider.
No idea it was already dead.

(Peter: POV)
"Where is it?" I muttered.
Feeling slightly frustrated.
Given that Gwen, Spinner, and I have been searching for the missing genetically altered spider for over an hour and had come up entirely empty.
I mean this really shouldn't be that hard.
Yet for some reason it is.
"Maybe I should just stop looking altogether." I said.
Since sometimes that's how people find exactly what they're looking for.
As I pondered this approach I couldn't help but notice Gwen swaying in her steps a bit.
"Gwen, you okay?" I asked. Turning towards her.
"Yeah. Just a bit woozie..." Gwen suddenly trailed off. Before missing a step and beginning to fall.
But before she hit the ground I moved and caught her.
Noticing when I did her complexion was snow white and that she was sweating slightly.
Moving my hand to the top of her head I felt heat the instant I touched it.
'She's burning up.' I thought.
Realizing just how serious the situation was.
So with that I prepared to take Gwen to the hospital.
Only to stop when a certain thought in the back of my head reared it's head.
A thought I told myself I was foolish for having.
Even so a nagging feeling told me to check anyway to make sure.
So with that I moved Gwen over to one of the couches and began examining her body.
Feeling like I'd been dunked in cold water when I found a large swollen red bump on her arm, that had spider thread attached to it.
"No." I said desperately. "No, no, no!"
"Peter!" Spinner shouted. "Calm yourself. Gwendolyn doesn't need you freaking out right at the moment. Now, tell me what's wrong." He spoke.
His words knocking me out of my mental stupor.
Though not by much.
"It's the spider we lost Spinner. It bit Gwen." I choked out.
Because I knew she was likely going to die and it was all my fault.
Since in this universe no one except for those from the Parker bloodline could survive being bitten by an Oscrop Industries spider.
Thus Gwen's fate was sealed.
"Dammit!" I shouted.
And just when things were starting to get good between us.
"Peter!" Spinner shouted once more. "Look at me." He spoke. No demanded.
So I did.
"What?!" I shouted.
"Don't despair just yet. For there is still a chance Ms. Stacy can survive." He said. "The serum you used to cure Dr. Connors of his Lizard affliction. I just ran some calculations and nodes and if you modify it using your blood as a base you can purge the gene lock embedded within the Spider DNA now coursing inside of Gwen and in the end likely save her life."Spinner explained.
Bringing up models and simulations for me to see on several of the computer screens.
As I looked at them I could see what Spinner was getting at.
Though his plan was a long shot
Even so any shot is better than none.
So with that I picked myself up, placed Gwen on the couch, and then locked in and went to work.
Spinner assisting me, and keeping me focused, while he has the Spider-Bots watch over Gwen and monitor her condition.
One that thankfully wasn't detiorating too quickly.
Even so I didn't slow down.
I even used my father's formula regarding the stabilization of cross-species genetics to make sure the serum I was going to use on Gwen was the best it could be.
One that took four hours of working non-stop to create.
But the second it was done I took the white liquid-filled vial over to Gwen and injected her without a second thought.
Praying it would work.
But only time would tell.
Knowing I would have to wait the rest of the night to see.
So with that Icontacted Harry and asked him to say I was staying at his house for the night, when I was really out with Gwen.
To which he agreed.
I then had Spinner fake a message to Gwen's parents telling them she was also staying with a friend.
This way no one would come looking for us.
So with that done I began sitting vigil at Gwen's bedside.
Until I dozed off without even realizing it.

"Peter, Peter wake up." I heard Spinner say.
When he did I opened my eyes and shot to my feet. "What, what's wrong? Is Gwen okay? Dammit Spinner, why did you let me fall asleep?!"
"Hey, stop all the yelling." I heard Gwen say.
When she did I turned to look at her.
Seeing all the color has returned to her face.
"Gwen, your okay." I happily cried.
"That she is Peter. It's why I chose to wake you just now." Spinner spoke. "For I saw no need for you to run yourself ragged any further. Given you had done all you could've for miss Stacy. So I took it upon myself to monitor her while you slept and recovered some strength. In case it was needed." He explained.
"Spinner, if you were real person I would both hug and punch you right now." I said.
"Then I'm glad I'm not flesh and blood at the moment." He retorted.
"Sorry to break up your male bonding moment but can someone explain what happened to me?" Gwen asked. "I feel as if a truck hit me."
"The genetically altered spider that escaped yesterday during our kiss time managed to bite you." I revealed. "So when that happened Spinner came up with a plan to save you." I spoke.
I then told her how we worked to modify the Lizard cure to undo the gene lock on the spider DNA in her system to save her life.
"Wow." Gwen mused. She then turned to Spinner. "Thank you for saving my life, Spinner."
"Of course. It was no trouble at all." He replied.
Gwen then turned to me. "And of course thank you as well Peter."
"Yeah. There's no need." I replied. "You being alive is thanks enough for me." I said.
"Flattery will get you everywhere Mr. Parker." Gwen fired off. She then got a look of realization on her face. "Oh shit! Please don't tell me we were here in the Web all night?!"
"We were." I replied. "But it's fine Spinner and I took care of-"
I began to explain.
Only to instantly stop when something very familiar came out of both of Gwens' wrists.
Spider-webs.
Seeing this we both were shocked.
"Oh shit!" We said at the same time.
Both realizing what likely happened.
But we decided to test it to make sure.
So after helping Gwen with her organic webs we moved on and leaned she had superhuman capabilities, wall-crawling, and even her own spider-sense when I suddenly threw an empty test tube at her and she caught it.
This confirming our initial hypothesis.
Gwen now had spider powers just like me.
