Swinging through the city Gwen and I arrived at the location of the new crime Spinner had alerted and directed us too.
An attempted gang tape on progress.
Disgusting smiles on their faces a group five of 20 somethings held down a woman, and were tearing her clothes off.
Seeing this Gwen and I didn't even make any jokes or comments before we dove in and beat the shit of the peverts.
"Ah, my leg!"
Their screams as we broke a couple of their bones music to my ears.
Since I won't hesitate to do that. I mean both Batman and Daredevil do it, so why shouldn't I?
After all the would be rapists were down for the count Gwen moved to the woman they had been attacking and wrapped her in a gentle hug.
"It's okay. You're okay now." She whispered.
As she did that I webbed up the five pieces of shit upside.
But not before removing their pants and leaving them all onyl in their underwear.
Giving them each a punch to the balls after.
Like I said, I'm not your goody two-shoes spider hero.
If I need to go the distance I will.
Ignoring the men's cries of pain as I potentially ended their bloodlines I turned back towards Gwen and slowly approached her and the woman.
The latter of whom looked at me, gratefulness written all over her face.
Which seeing brought a smile to my own.
"Spinner, are the police on there way?" I asked.
Getting my answer a second later as police and an ambulance pulled up.
"I contacted them right after I did you and Ghost-Spider." Spinner spoke.
Making me wonder what I would do without him?
Shaking my head at hardly being able to imagine such a scenario as of now I waited until Gwen handed the victim over to the police.
Once she did the two of us took of swinging again.
Stopping several more crimes before returning to the Web to collect our belongings and head home for the night.
As we dressed Gwen asked me something.
"Peter, want to go to the Stark Expo this weekend?"
Not answering I turned to Gwen and gave her an 'why are you already asking a question you know the answer to look' because I for sure wanted to go to the Stark Expo.
I was actually planning to take Gwen there on a date once she completed her basic hero training.
But it looks like she's about to reward me.
"Oh, are you trying to butter up your teacher with a gift Ms. Stacy? Then I must say you picked an excellent one."
"Actually Oscorp Industries has an exposition there and as an intern I got drafted to help out for a few hours. But in return I'm getting two exclusive passes." She admitted.
"I see." I mused. "Eh, whatever." I shrugged. I still get to see the Stark Expo either way with my girlfriend. Even if it does involve Oscorp.
Which yes, Gwen is still working at for her internship, despite everything she now knows. Along with the powers she now possess.
A matter we discussed at length.
But in the end Gwen decided to remain in their employee.
Due to several reasons.
First, it would be seriously suspicious of her to just up and quit her internship since she worked so hard to obtain it.
Her parents would definitely question her and since she's now lying to them about the whole hero thing, at least until she finds the right time to tell her family about it like me, she didn't want to add on another huge lie so soon.
Secondly, despite Oscorp being a shady ass business Gwen working for them now will do wonders for her resume.
Third, she insisted on staying there and functioning as a sort of intelligence agent. Despite me telling her about my backdoor into the company servers I had the Spider-Bots install in the wake of the Lizard incident.
Believe me I would much rather Gwen distance herself from Oscorp Industries but she is a stubborn woman and so here we are.
Once I agreed the expo date we shared a kiss and then went our separate ways.
Since we had school the next day.

[March 3rd, 2011]
Entering Midtown the next day, hand in hand with Gwen, we went to our lockers.
Then went through our usual morning classes until we met up with everyone else at our usual table for lunch.
Harry being the last to arrive.
Bringing along Liz Allen.
Seeing this Ned eyes went wide in shock.
While me and Gwen remained calm.
Surprisingly so did Felicia.
"You two are dating?!" Ned asked.
Harry and Liz nodded.
"We are." Harry replied. He rhen looked at me, Gwen, and Felicia. Leading him to groan. "Tell me, how long have you three known?"
"Actually back around Valentine's Peter and I saw you two." Gwen revealed.
"Yeah, but we didn't want to put you guys on the spot and let you tell is in your own time." I explained. I then looked at Felicia. "Though I have no idea how Felicia knew?"
"I've gotten good at reading people ever since I was taught how to do so when I was little. So when I noticed the vibes Harry and Liz started giving off when they were together I took a guess and it turns out I was right. But like Peter and Gwen I wanted to let you two tell us in your own time." She explained.
"So I'm the only one who didn't know?" Ned asked.
"Well, in our friend group it seems." Harry mused. "But not in the whole school." He added.
Harry being right, as everyone was looking in the direction of our table, whispering an muttering.
"Okay. I guess." Ned spoke.
"Eh, cheer up Ned." I said. Gently patting him on the shoulder.
"Yeah,cheer up pal." Harry said. "Also, you guys mind if Lizzy joins us for lunch?"
"No problem with me."
"That's fine."
"Cool."
"Sure."
The four of us giving our approval.
"Thanks you guys." Liz said.
Grabbing a seat at our table.
We then all started making small talk.
The girls finding out they had a lot in common with her.
Thus Liz seemlesly integrated into our friend group.
"So, what do you guys have planned for this weekend?" Ned eventually asked.
"Well Gwen is working the Oscorp Exposition at the Stark Expo for a few hours before we use the exclusive passes she got as a reward for helping out to go on a little date." I explained.
"Then about we make it a double date?" Harry asked.
"So you're going to be at the expo this weekend too Harry?" Gwen asked.
He nodded. "Yeah. My dad asked me to. And I didn't want to pass up a chance to see him for the first time in the past few weeks."
"Is everything okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, don't worry Pete." Harry replied. "It's just my dad being my dad. He's working on this big project and in usual fashion he's been squirreling himself away in his lab to work on it."
"Interesting." Gwen mused. "Will we perhaps be seeing this mystery project at the Stark Expo?"
Harry shrugged. "No idea. I mean even though my relationship with my dad has gotten better when it comes to stuff like that he still doesn't tell me anything." He explained.
"Don't worry Harry, I'm sure one day that won't be the case." I said. Giving him a reassuring pat on the shoulder.
But I also made a note to have Spinner send the Spider-Bots to once again investigate Oscorp Industries.
Because if Norman could possibly be working on what I suspect he is then no matter the consequences I need to act.
Because I will not let a fucking Green Goblin of any kind come into existence in this reality.
That's a promise.
Making this silently to myself I then continued lunch with the others.
Before heading straight to the Web after school and having Spinner initiate the plan I created at lunch.
Made all that much easier given we were already in Oscorp systems.
Thus we were able to track Norman's movements.
Leading us to discover a secret lab not listed on any of the building schematics in the sub-levels of the structure.
Once we did I had Spinner send a couple of Spider-Bots to perform some reconnaissance.
My breath hitching when their video feeds began displaying several vials filled with two different liquids.
The first liquid being red, which I immediately recognized as GR-27, also known as Devil's Breath, from the Insomniac Spider-Man games.
While the second liquid was bright green and had the label [G-Serum] engraved on one of the vials containing it.
These images immediately letting me know two things.
That my instincts were right.
And that the situation was worse than I imagined.
For Norman was already working on the Goblin Serum.
Not only that but with GR-27 thrown into the mix I shuddered at the thoughts of what my happen.
Leading me to immediately make another decision.
"Spinner, pull the Spider-Bots back. That's enough for today." I told him.
"Right away Peter." He replied.
Thus the Spider-Bots began pulling back.
As they did I immediately began coming up with plans to sneak into Oscorp Industries myself and personally retrieve both the Devil's Breath and the G-Serum.
It was time for a heist.
